If it sells well I wouldn’t be surprised if it kicks off the next “wave” of cyberpunk games, like how Skyrim kicked off the open world craze. So even if you personally think Cyberpunk 2077 is shit, you could benefit by getting a Mankind Divided sequel, or other devs being able to make cyberpunk games. If Cyberpunk performs well, will SE greenlight next Deus Ex?
Gameplay without Geoff talking.

No lies detected.Previews are pretty clear that this is still an RPG and will have more RPG mechanics than the Witcher games did. IGN compared the sim aspects to Deus Ex, would be nice if that wasn’t just shilling. Gameplay is still pretty fucking clunky though.
And there’s a lot of perks. For the Cool attribute, you’ve got a Stealth Page and a Cold Blood page. There’s 26 different Stealth perks and 19 Cool Blood perks to choose from, and most of those have multiple levels.
The same goes for other attributes. Technical Ability — or TECH — has Crafting (19 perks) and Engineering (22). Reflexes has separate branches for each of the main weapons: Blades (23), Rifles (20) and Handguns (19).

What the absolute fuck? The opening fight scene looks horrible. I hate first person games in general with hand to hand combat because it's going to be cringe no matter what, there's no way you can get the intricacies of real fighting down, unless you limit everything to Boxing, which is what most games end up doing. Still looks like absolute shit though. Two enemies, one mind, and he just marches each body one at a time to the enemy.
The rest of the game looks just like a cinematic movie as others have said. When will developers realize that too much realism is confusing and disjointing. It looks like an absolute mess to play, and just a pretty but boring experience. No matter how good the story is, it's going to have a devil of a time trying to carry a game that fights you at every step with its shit mechanics.
Dude are you serious?Graphics definitely being reigned in like Witcher 3's were,
Bet that in the end most of these perks will be useless. No lies detected.Previews are pretty clear that this is still an RPG and will have more RPG mechanics than the Witcher games did. Yoshinari is a huge furfag and he did BNA so I expect at least one furry to appear somewhere. I'm also expecting hyper violence in the vein of classic 80s cyberpunk anime and a good amount of perversion due to Imaishi's influence. You may not know this but the guys at Trigger are huge fans of western culture too. One of the guys at Trigger worked on an episode of Steven Universe because he's such a fag for that gay show and some of the guys at Trigger are the same ones who worked on Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt which was basically a love letter to American animation.Yoshinari and Imaishi is a good combo but a weird choice. I'd expect a certain level of good production value but I'm not sure how would they take it it direction wise since their works leans more to the hyper action side.
Watanabe would've been more reliable since he's really into western culture and have already made the Blade runner short which was really great. I believe best choice would be if they got Watanabe to direct at Producction I.G or Nakazawa since he's more involved with the studio.
Keep in mind that previews are written by retards who don't play games and will easily mistake "has lots of options" for "has lots of options that matter to gameplay".Previews are pretty clear that this is still an RPG and will have more RPG mechanics than the Witcher games did.
