All the memes,bugs and technical issues aside,the game really feels off putting to me. I generally have no interest in playing it. Most likely will download the gog copy,but i won't be butthurt if it doesn't run me pc. The setting really seems very unfun to me,if it was done 20ish years ago,it would have been fresh. Ohhh look there is an amputy with a corkscrew for an arm,ohhh and look there is a purpled haired tranny/dike with a side shave,ohhh and there is dildos everywhere,ohhh and there is soo much crime! It does lacks anything original,just a bunch of generic garbage for a shock value.

Can't see much reason for going full ultra from Ultra Textures+16x AF & low/med everything else tbh. The RT, namely ray-traced global illumination, makes graphics looks WORSE. You can't slap ray tracing into existing lighting model and get away with it. Even Q2 RTX had to be remastered from the ground up to look OK.

Granted I don't think they should have put those restrictions on reviews but it's not like people haven't seen tons of gameplay. There's a shit load of info/gameplay/etc out there if a person can't figure out if they'd enjoy the game or not they're a fucking idiot.

Unedited, uncontrolled footage though. Like some illustrations of the bugs. Come on. Apart from some of us here, the audience at large doesn't know what to expect, because 5 years are too long to remember the state Witcher 3 launched in, and this seems to be worse than that.

Meh, the news seems to point CDPR's raytracing implementation isn't playable in practice, and it will probably take them by the end of January to optimize it.

There is video of bugs out there too. There's reviews going over them, as well as some initial performance figures. The game is not going to be radically different, we've literally seen uninterrupted 40 minute gameplay footage. Not sure I even agree with this statement but even if a large portion of the audience are flaming retards doesn't mean there isn't plenty of info out there to make an informed decision. Frankly while there's no way to quantify it either way but I think most people who are looking forward to this game have seen/read plenty about it.

And even if a person is a mouth breathing moron, the worst that happens is they get the game, it's buggy/not what they expected, and they simply refund it. Nothing lost. It's not even remotely deep/risky situation here.

I'm starting to think that they delayed the game because it just doesn't live up to the expectations. Cyberpunk 2077 will be the biggest disappointment of the year.
