If you do get it be aware of the copy pasta locations.

The same locations are reused constantly every cave is the same cave with different monsters and some impassible doors are now openable- same with the mansions and the sewers.

Your ignore list.
So they went further and pulled a ME1 with DA2, where every location is copy pasted and looks exactly the same only with different enemies and a few different doors.

Wow...

Fallout 3 didn't have it that bad.

I'm sure ten other posters have already said it, but anyway: it's leaked, and I don't give a shit!

:yeah:

(That felt good.)

That makes it sound even worse than what I thought they were originally talking about. The game engine probably still lets you keep static location assets and interactive stuff separate - I thought maybe they were just reusing the static stuff but spread out more like in so many a DA:O DLC or random encounters.

How did they manage to leak the PC version without the activation servers even being online? The reviewers were all taken to Gaider's bedroom to play the full game ffs
Obviously, this leak was for marketing purposes. That's why it comes with no crack and is thus inoperable.

Sorry I've had a few beers, so even less able to comprehend basic ideas than normal. --- Why would this be marketing? If I torrent 99% of it 6 days before I can buy it in the shop (for $60 plus whatever for the day 1 dlc they want to fuck me with), wouldn't I be more likely to just keep on hunting around for the missing little crack in the hope of getting the game early, free, and without DRM?

But again ... is this pos even worth the heat wear and tear that your modem will suffer downloading it? Also, doing that will increase the torrent leech statistic by 1, telling BioWare that basically you were in fact hyped about the awesome new Dragon Effect, but were perhaps just having some cash flow issues at the moment?

The ONLY positive I can see is that after you played it, you can start professionally trolling the BioBoards, telling them that this is the RPG of the century (PC Gamer review?) and see if any of them have even a vague idea that they have instead, actually been gang ass-raped, no vaseline, by the developer they revere above life itself.

It wouldn't. You can download your copy if you paid for the game. It didn't leak off Bioware, someone (or rather some people) who bought the game happily uploaded their copies into the net.

Some people have a conspiracy theorist mindset. DA2 available for download? A devious marketing scheme. Your cell phone broke? It must've been the manufacturer's idea for the phone to break after a set amount of time so that you have to buy a new one. Internet works slowly? The government is slowing down your bandwidth on purpose because you read Alex Jones' Infowars. It's cloudy today? The Russians are murdering Polish officials.

It's sad how I'm the only girl in school who's excited about Dragon Age II. I pre-ordered it last year and I'm going to pick it up on Tuesday, which is the 8th here. I just got 4000 microsoft points as a part of early birthday gift, so if there's going to be tons of DLC... bring it on! haha.

I didn't like the gameplay and combat of DA origins maybe it was because I was to the simplified structure of Mass Effect but ever since I tried the demo of DA II, it was like having the best of both worlds. I wish there was another girl I could talk to, to share my enthusiasam with.

Ok, I have enough. I'm not reading another comment about DA2.

OK, so what's that cringeworthy about that post?

1) She wishes she knew someone who'd share her hobby

2) She preferred ME to DA:O, stating quite clearly that she appreciated the simplified structure. No posturing here, can't blame her.

3) She says she's excited about DA2 without being wildly verbose about it.

What's wrong? Is there not enough real dumbfuckery on the Bioboards so that you talk of vomiting because of some totally random and - frankly - palatable post? Geez guys, pilot your hatredcopters more carefully.
