I'm yet to see any real connection between those guys and valve (game credits or direct mentions from valve)

Think what you will but in my opnion, the most likely explanation for this is because SB worked with many games/devs that have valve as a partner (aka they sell games on Steam) and/or they worked with third party people that organizes steam sales (sales like black voices in gaming, season of pride and antrho festival). Those sales are custom made by a third-party, valve just gives them the platform to organize their own events/sales.

The type of insuferable people that support SB despise/screech at valve:
-like some ex-valve devs:

-and retarded gaming "journalists" (and their friends) like this guy on youtube screeching that valve is too white and too male:
(invidious instance of the video to not give him clicks: https://yewtu.be/watch?v=s9aCwCKgkLo )

So no, I dont think valve worked with them directly. Anyone can claim valve is their partner/client or whatever if you sell your shit on steam lol.

Bro have you looked at the artwork of any recent Valve game, sale event or anything at all?

Valve worked with SBI on Dota Underlords. Right on SBI's Wiki page in fact:

Valve is working on Half Life 3, Deadlock and they supposedly have other projects in the works. Alyx is one of the Half life protagonists:

They also worked on Underlords as Lycanwarrior mentioned already. Remember that the Campo Santo dudes are insanely pozzed and they are still working at Valve afaik.

alright,I actually didnt know that

very weird, makes me wonder if they hired more outsider companies to work on underlords since it was a very quick project they made after the auto chess team refused their offer to work for them

I uninstalled the game after I got killed twice by Beboop.

I did all three tutorial quests, played one PvE match, then jumped into PvP. I went to the lane with a random dude. It was a 2v2 lane. The random dude seemed to be as clueless as me. I assumed we were both new players. But my enemies weren’t new. They were probably some sweaty tryhards with 300 hours of playtime. One of them was Beboop, a character who could hook you. My bad, three minutes into the game, I got hooked and instantly killed by Beboop and his friend. Then I came back to the lane and managed to survive for five minutes. But then somehow, I got hooked a second time. I hit the abandon button. The game warned me about some punishment, but at that point, I didn’t care. I uninstalled the game instantly.

You ragequit forever in your first game after dying to the same thing only twice? Nice copypasta I guess.

This looks awful. People are machine gunning each other for 5 seconds and nobody dies.

this is more of an MOBA than shooter
Exactly what makes it even worse. If you don't have the right stats/build then you're doing no damage.

But that's the point of MOBA lol

If you want to play shooter there are a lot of shooter
Quake multiplayer sucks if you dont know where the items are and just run around randomly then you get no kills

From my point of view, if I want a good shooter where I can blow my opponent’s brains away, I can boot up CS. I win one pistol round, then I can buy an M4/AK and enjoy one-tapping enemies’ heads. Or I can buy a Desert Eagle in the first round, which is one shot to the head or two shots to the chest for a kill. Guns feel powerful, and kills are satisfying.

In Deadlock, my gun does like 25-30 damage when enemies have 500-600 HP. It feels like I’m shooting a water gun. After mid-game, it’s 250-300 damage per shot while enemies’ HP is about 1000-1500. Which is okay, but I have to sweat my ass off laning for like 20 minutes for that.

Of course, it’s more like a MOBA, so it heavily encourages items and abilities. But if I want to play a MOBA, I can play DOTA 2, a game in which I’ve already spent hours learning items and abilities. I don’t want to start a new MOBA where I have to spend 100 hours learning items, heroes, and abilities interactions again.

My point is, Valve already has CS and DOTA 2, which are among the best in their genres. What is this for?

I could be wrong. Steamcharts show this game is pretty popular. Maybe the game is not for me.

Then don't use a fucking third person perspective because all you've achieved is this

After watching some gameplay, yeah, I think this is the hero shooter + MOBA combo that we'll be seeing for the next few years.

I would've been interested back in 2016, when Paragon was the only thing close to it. But now I don't really care for hyper sweaty, long rounds anymore.

Sure it can get patched out whenever, but as of now it's possible to stun your opponents for five seconds straight while everyone else guns you down.

Literally not an ounce of originality in this game. Imagine having infinite money and the only thing you can come up with is the same fucking MOBA that has been made for the past 20 years.
People who play this slop need to be bullied.

I think it’s okay for people to make old and low-effort comments on the internet in their free time. But if somebody gets paid six figures yearly to make a new game, then I expect more effort and creativity from them.
