Scaling is weird. Open world regions have their minimum lvl. So one region can have minimum lvl 30 other one 15 another one 20 etc. Then there is upscaling to your level. So monsters don't stay at lvl 1 in opening area but upscale to your level. If you are 15 they will be 15 when you will go back.

But once you reach lvl 30 you reach maximum level of every area which means that for all intent and purpose world scales to you from lvl 30 to 50. Then at 50 stops again because it expects you to switch to higher difficulty.

As for personal power. Up to lvl ~50 you mostly tread water and you can't find anything on ground that would give you huge edge over content. Things change around lvl 50 when mods affixes start to get wide enough to roll much higher affixes that combined make difference.

Once you up difficulty tier to T3 you basically enter end game as it enables host of new features as well as new loot, new affixes and so on. You start very weak but soon you find better gear.

From lvl 50+ Monsters say they are scaled to you buy imho they barely change as if they are lvl 50 in stats.

Hard to say, but possibly. If they're including WoW expansions in that, the sales are likely significant.

Honestly anyone who isn't arpg addict should wait for first expansion. The thing with such games is that they usually improve as time go and by going early you are playing the weakest version of it.

Thought sometimes developers fuck up and you got reverse where "improvements" hurt game in process like in POE.

Agreed. Crispy confessed to me on my profile page that he was scared of getting bullied for playing D&D so he never talked about it in his youth. Seems pretty cowardly if you ask me. Oh and I made sure I screencapped it in case he ever tries to delete it. It is my little jewel I shall keep forever.

Anyways this game wont end up like PoE. Blizzard are smart and they already have a strong foundation to build upon. PoE was never good.

It's probably just people who couldn't get in at launch, and are justifiably pissed. Most of the people who were able to play the game seem happy with it.

That is the strongest stronghold boss in the area. I looked it up. Also I didn't get filtered. I was probably just too drunk. I'll fight it again after I get lvled up a bit more.

Calling it quits for tonight. I got kicked out twice and it said my account was "locked" for a few minutes. Both happened at unfortunate times and I lost quest progress. Very, very gay. It seemed to remember my character progression though. It forgot where I was in the quest but remembered the experience and items I gained. Weird.

Comparing Path of Exile to Diablo 4 is like comparing and expert read such as Newton's Principia to a kids book 'I love my grandma'. Complexity vs mass appeal.

50 days until new POE 2 content and trust me it will be THE RPG of either 2023 or 2024. Do you honestly think Starfield or Avowed will be better?

I was at the very end of the quest when I got kicked out and had to start over from the beginning.

Also I don't remember alot from D3.

I claimed the first stronghold. It was tough but doable. The Kor Dragan boss is ridiculous. How did you fight him? The biggest problem is I think his summons are unkillable. You can only knock them out.
