must have been a slip.
Maybe some weird people keep the inventory open after firing for the next arrow, but since the inventory doesn't change to the next active character on the next turn if he has it, well... i still think its better to autoclose.

Speaking of walking to mountains... Many years ago when most of the tweenage members of the 'Dex were playing with Etch-a-Stetch I was at my brother's wedding in Colorado. There was an 'off' day in between all the crap and I for whatever reason I took it upon myself to walk to the mountains in the distance down the highway. I have no idea how long it took, probably over an hour, perhaps more but when I got there at the base of trail was a big sign that said 'YOU ARE ENTERING A MOUNTAIN LION'S HOME.' Had I not stacked points in Perception, dear friends, I might not have made the proper decision to turn around and head back. And you'd all be deprived of my wit and wisdom.

What a shit game. No random encounter? No fast travel? Seriously?

At least the path to the lions home wasnt blocked by an invisible fence. Player choice (and possible consequence) right there.

Well, the quests in this game are really well done. No handholding, but an appropriate amount of hinting.
Impressive.
And that is how it should be done.

Read quests, take down notes (jot them down if your memory isnt good). Solve quests using said notes.

The inventory is garbage anyways. It should be way more limited than it is.

Fuck. that. shit.
You wanna spend hours pushing shit into backpacks, limit yourself to the top two rows on each character while mentally reinforcing how much doper your playthrough is.

For example, love the IE games but the limited number of inventory slots often becomes tiresome. Although potion cases and bags of holding helped by offering you the chore of organization, I can suspend disbelief by assuming my characters can lug around a volume of items equivalent to a sperm whale without expanding my inventory in lame ways. They're not saving the world 'cause they're pussies.

Dunno if the pets for the Codexia Edition tm were just added with this update (Summon Pet suddenly showed up in the skillbars of all my characters) but goddamnit Andyman Messiah, that deer is the quite the meatshield, just got through the final battle at the WW grotto at Luculla by summoning it right next to the summoner and the crossbowman near the lake + casting the defense buff on it, causing half of the enemies to engage in not so tasteful rape with the poor fella.

Horrible things. I avoid them whenever I can. But if I have a petty soul gem... eh... I still avoid them. Not worth the trouble.

Just have a look at the comments section under this IGN review. Those popamole lovers are practically singing praises. How in the fuck did Larian do it?

They're just following the hype train. Sadly, if the critical consensus on this was overwhelmingly negative, those same people would be slagging it off. In this industry it's all about the hype. People love what they're told to love and hate what they're told to hate.

For some reason this game gets hyped exremly, its realy strange. And IF something gets hyped everybody, even the "popamole lovers", like ISO turned based cRPG´s. Maybe its "Ok, everybody seems to like it... i must like it too, otherwise i am not cool!".
