Ah the Works on My Machine defense.

Those bugs existed considering the fact that they fixed them.

By your definition there hasn't been a single game without serious bugs. If the game crashes for even a single player and the devs fix it...

Teleporting enemy spellcasters/ranged right next to your melee. And/or teleporting them on to status effects like burning/poison~

I think Teleportation being one of first spells is imo to powerful same with other powerful skills like invisibility or batering ram.

I guess Larian just wanted to show something new people so that they won't drop game after first 30 minutes.

Also i think teleportation for example would need to scale with level or other stat or should be weight based. So for example light enemy = long distance teleportation, heavy enemy just few meters.

I was just wondering why Larian didn't implement it when everyone with experience as GM would do so.

You could have thrown a pyramid just as well and avoided taking damage from teleport.

Yep, though I haven't picked the second one up yet in my current playthrough.

Nothing beats teleporting them on top of each other. I beat the first fight (the 3 skeles summoned by the mage who runs off) with a single action - I dropped the archer skeleton so he hit both his co-skeletons and they all died. Although I think the funniest such instance for me was when some skele mage summoned a pig that he dropped into my party. I promptly picked the pig up using teleport and dropped it on his head, killing him lol. I laughed at the irony of the situation for a good minute afterward.

Edit: I've also started to drop my own fighter into the enemy pack using this tactic; it costs a few hp, but can set up some nice dust devil combos.

My Wizard doesn't have the teleport spell? He just started with some fire spells. Time to re-roll?

No you can buy that later, theres also books to get more skill points, at 10k the book although so you better save up .

Yep, it's the npc mage you can recruit. If you create a Wizard you need air magic. Pretty sure the book isn't that pricey, though.

Also, what's with the parchment you have at the start of the game and the incline joke? Is it a RPGCodex kick starter bonus thing? Can I throw it away?

If you used the codex key in your profile, yeah. It's just the codex stuff, it's just there for fun. I am just using the code I got from the Larian vault, so I don't see any of the codex stuff. :(

by that definition all old games had no bugs, because those almost never had a bug fixed!

Can I just drop my shit and expect to find it in the same place latter on? I already filled up that one chest in the base with crafting shit I'll likely never use.

Or you can just put any container you can lift, from the world into your inventory and use it as if it was a backpack.

See above. Take a few chest with you and leave them in the base.

Is there an ETA on the next patch? Every time I load a game when I'm in-game I always crash to desktop. Apparently quite a few people are having this issue and is going to get addressed in the next patch.
This is not a "minor" bug.

Achievements are more trololo in this game what Ive noticed. Like "you pushed the button we wanted you to push, nice job Columbus". I got some for completing the quests, but they're silly for the most part, just to satisfy the derpers so they feel they made some progress through the game.

they don't weight 1 like backpack.

most of boxes are 5 each, chests are usually 10. So for example 5 wooden boxes = 25 weight.
