What level should I be taking on Baccus Rex 'cause zomg I just got my ass handed to me on first try. Have a few ideas but, man. Call me Brazil after that ass-kicking.
Playing scoundrel without grid makes me want to find whoever is responsible for local backstab tracking and stab him with a butter knife repeatedly.

Fight is just about positioning. I can give more tips if you want.
Make up your mindaction points based tb combat is fucking awesome. Gridless + action point > everything else. Period.
Is it too hard for people to understand that simple people don't like complicated things?
As for the site allowing simple-minded dudes to review their games, well you know who their target audience are.
The only downside is the score brings down the overall on meta-critic, but user-review scores are still very high.
Very happy for Larian
Oh, and just for people's information:
Every screenshot in this so called "review" is taken from an alpha version, not from the actual release version . The actual release (and even the beta for months now) version has much improved graphics and a different GUI.
How could you take a "review" seriously in which the "reviewer" don't even use own screenshots but promo material for the kickstarter from over a YEAR ago??? That's pathetic.
Also some of the so called "information" in this "review" is just plain wrong, as people alredy mentioned below (e.g. the party size). It's a damn shame that such a poorly done "review" that seems like the "reviewer" hardly played it at all (another time just for your information: the game is about 30 hours minimum to even finish it once and you have skipped a lot of side content if you are that fast) but only took promo material and press released to build up something that he could put on a website to earn a few clicks even gets on metacritic.
Also it's pretty obvious that the "reviewer" hasn't played the game in co-op AT ALL although it's one of the core features/elements of the game. Pathetic and dishonest, that's what you must call this "review".
Too easy.Apparently the "Cheat Code Central" review is a scam review. The guy didn't even play or review the game it looks like.
???Make up your mind
Although sticking to the formulas of old classic RPGs, let alone the plague of technical issues and quest related bugs, this rushed game still need more polishing before it can be a great game with good experience to most players.
Here are the areas that need further polishing:
- rock, paper, scissors argument system is just plain boring, it never comes close to the epic conversation of Bahdur's Gate
- the self-talking mechanism between the main characters is just odd, it should have another ways to develop characters' social skill
- there should be a general direction hint of what players should go, just like Divinity 2, so players will not just move to areas they are not supposed to go yet
- traveling and picking up items are just chore, as it takes too many time and clicks
- no balance of combat difficulty and the use of enviornment, tacticial variety should be allowed for player to pick from, but not a death is guaranteed if not following particular direction
- equipment and character models should have a greater diversity
- imbalance between quest types, there are just too many puzzle solving quests, and if not followed in particular orders, player will just get stuck
- there are still improvement areas for how those puzzles are presented and solved
- combat accuracy is too unreliable, resulting in just a save or load attempts, since enemies are generally overpowered
- there should be more adjustment available for font size and camera angles
- there should be a general direction hint of what players should go, just like Divinity 2, so players will not just move to areas they are not supposed to go yet
