Game is 2 months away, they announced it is verified for Steam Deck along with not needing EA app for Steam/pc months before release, and dedicated a whole blog post for their work on pc version. Yet the game failed to break into top 100 in Steam's top sellers list so far while going down in numbers and EA preventing its sale on all online storefronts for 14 countires(16 if you count North Korea and Cuba as countries), console versions included. Are they trying to kill the franchise and finally pull the plug on Bioware? Otherwise I cant explain how they are planning to market this to EA's main customer base of dudebros with marketing material that is so focused on genders of developers and ingame characters while having zero attractive looking characters.

Also it could be just me but Ive noticed they are trying to copy the success of BG3 in a really disingenuous way. Dedicating a panel to unknown voice actors of new characters where they cant spoil stuff, adding complete nudity options, making companions playersexual. I wouldnt be surprised to get some "bear sex" type of thing closer to launch.

DA:O doesn't have random blacks and Asians in a small village.
Plus Cassandra is still allowed to be sexy.

In DA2 she's already protected from the lewd male stare by being a disgusting she-male. A lot happened in those two years apparently.

Cassandra doesn't appear in Origins or any of its expansions. You mean the downgrade that happened between DA2 and Inquisition.

In 2012 she still looked quite decent:

Didn't even know this existed, looking up reviews it seems the movie was shit anyway. But that's besides the point, the real issue is that instead of a young hot brunette Inquisition gave us a manjawed 40 year old woman.

Origins gave you a party in which every member was white besides Sten (vaguely brown qunari), Shale (a magically animated artifact) and the dog (a dog) and only ever showed People of Gender in order to mock cross-dressers. It was hardly the peak of social conservatism but anybody claiming that it was always "woke" in the way that those steam users are complaining about has incurred severe brain damage or is being disingenuous. In the case of Jim Sterling it's clearly both.
DA:O takes place in Ferelden(medieval not-England) and has Leliana and Marjolaine from Orlais(medieval not-France), so almost all are white as it should be. Zevran and Isabela are exotic and their backstories explain how they appeared in Ferelden. DA:O doesn't have random blacks and Asians in a small village. Dyke dwarf Branka is one of the worst villains of the game. The Chantry is portrayed neutrally. The game isn't woke at all since it was released in 2009 but sadly it's one of the last non-woke/non-PC games.
If a game has a male homosexual romance option it's a woke game, no way around that. Mass Effect 1&2 were less degenerate and woke than DA:O.

I liked her, she's just...normal? She's religious, she has a purpose and she has based ideals. In other game I would find her a little boring, but in this clownfest she really stands out.

I'd say more like 30. It's the broad jawline, the eye area and the masculine mouth that are the problem. The eye area looks completely randomised, or like the result of some troubled facial geometry or bad animation. Eyebrows never start that close to the inner corners of the eyes, not even when you have really bushy brows. The eyes themselves don't look too far apart when the jaw is that wide, so fixing this thing would simply require that the eyebrows be made lighter on the inner corners. It would change her brooding expression which Bioware obviously was going for, but it would make her look more "real".

Christ Bioware are incompetent. Look at these for example:

They eye positions are noticeably asymmetrical, and the brows change shape drastically depending on her expression. This mod makes her mouth more pursed and therefore more feminine. Instant improvement.

This one has apparently cleaned up the eyebrows, but you can still tell that her left eye is further apart from the nose bridge, and may even be tilted differently based on many screenshots of the vanilla face. And the obnoxiously wide jaw is on special display there.

It's still infuriating that the returning male characters either stay the same or receive upgrades, like Cullen, while the females have all been downgraded between games.

Anders and Alistair basically retained the same facial geometry between Origins (+Awakening) and DA2, plus perhaps more detail afforded by the more polished engine. Cullen went from an average potato-faced bloke to a superhunk, although that may've been simply because he became romanceable.

As for the recurring female chars, let's not even go there. Bioware simply can't let them be because of their involvement in the social revolution.

Edit 1: Shit, Alistair actually appears in Inquishition as well, and it looks like he got a downgrade! At any rate he looks like Cullen's uglier brother. How lazy is that.

Grab the Codex by the pussy Strap Yourselves In Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.
Hard to say which is more retarded. A woman fighting with a sword and shield, or a woman fighting with a sword and shield and with flowing long hair?
