To think, we thought the reviewers are paid shills thing was bad with crackpot scores like PCGamer's DA2 review, fast forward to this shitshow and this game is showered with perfect scores left, right and center, whilst bathing in identity politics. But there's no connection there, right... The clowns couldn't out themselves any more clearly and anyone who doesn't see it is living in blissful ignorance, for now.

PC Gamer has a pretty critical 79 - https://www.pcgamer.com/games/dragon-age/dragon-age-the-veilguard-review/

This seems to cut to the heart of it:

>Nobody's a jerk (for long) or has concerning opinions about mages or anything. Good people don't make great characters. There apparently just isn't time for nuance when there are gods to fight, so every character either has an intensely personal journey with no wider ramifications or a revenge pot against an unquestionably evil person.

In other words, people who wanted an even dumber, more YA style DA game with barely any thinking or RPG DNA left, they're sure to be delighted.

From what I've gathered, I genuinely can't point to a single thing that didn't get dumber.

They didn't even tried to connect to the actual in game lore. If you gonna insert any real word type of discussion , at least come up with a word , lore and in-game scenario, especialy one that's clearly Medival. It feels like the writers didn't even tried to be creative to insert their ideas.. They just pick up a Tumblr discussion and added to the game.
BioWare inserted modern troons with breast removal scars, pronouns and non-binary drivel into a medieval fantasy world.

The gay pajeet from Inquisition became Wyll from BG3.

I hate how they pajeetified the whole Tevinter Empire, they were supposed to be Mediterranean masterrace that fell on hard times. This guy doesnt even remotely looks like Dorian from Inqusition.

They also pajeetified the oversexualized latina while giving her a breast reduction surgery.

Is it also a woke trend to give every character hook noses? They are overdoing the uglifying at this point.

Very disappointed that Mortisimal found this turd to be his personal GotY... Expected better taste from a reviewer is respected.
Respected?

Mortismal is the kind of reviewer who'd play Stalin's communism to 100% and then say "the cons are people are a bit hungry and a bit dead sometimes but they have a lot of tanks and sing nice song, so that's it guys, ultimately there's a lot to like in this Communism game, see you next time".

I've never seen a more mush-brained, soulless, beige reviewer in my life. If he's "respected" it's only because he actually never says anything and so nobody is pissed off.

They also pajeetified
Yeah, seems to be a common thing in Veilguard. The launch trailer had a pajeet rook in it too. It's like they're actively trying to chase away players.

Aren't pajeets (men/women) statistically the least desirable race after blacks on dating apps? Who the fuck is Bioware focus testing this shit on?
