In Bulgarian for example(and probably most slavic languages) gender and sex are one word and the sorosoids need to use loanwords for that and it sounds retarded.
Really? In Serbo-Croat it actually fits very neatly. Gender afaik originates in linguistics and was imported into other disciplines from there so I'm surprised that there's no word in Bulgarian for gendered language especially since all Slavic languages are gendered.
I suspect a lot of languages have it, but no one realizes that the word can be used for people, instead of just linguistically. For example, in Lithuanian, the linguistic gender is called "giminė" - which directly translates to something like kindred, tribe, family, race. I am although surprised now, since I just google translated and one of the translations for giminė is gender, which I would never ever ever associate with the word.

I don't even know that we have these pronouns in robmanian. I did a google and all I could find was an article about some fag romanian forum where some fags wrote how they want to be called. In robmanian words are either male, female as per their suffix. And they want to change the suffix to X. As in, like Melon Musk did with his blue dildo.

So instead of "autor" (male writer) or "autoare" (female writer) they want to say "autorX"

So many of the 'recommend' reviews on Steam are something like:
"Yeah this game does have problems X,Y,Z and I didn't like A,B,C, and yeah the writing is bad and juvenile but it's a good game, really! Maybe not a good Dragon Age game but it's good, sort of! If you're not me you will enjoy it, probably!"

70k in the game right now.
I'm sure it'll surpass the janky Dark Souls 2, lol.

Dark Souls 2 for all its flaws is at least a half-decent game that doesn't waste a lot of time with nonsense.

Every time I read the positive steam reviews I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. I don't understand how this even has a 70+ positive rating.

People bamboozled by bling. Game is soulless, dumb and empty but it runs good, moves well and is flashy.

Same reason so many people mock eurojank like early PB games, Kingdom Come etc. - they're masterpieces inside but on the surface they look clunky, janky and ew.

Here is second (!) article on PC Gamer complaining about the writing in Vileguard. This is hilarious, I didn't expect western journalists to join in on the dunking tbh

Make it three :smug:

I brought this up recently in this exact thread, so I'm glad a website with infinitely bigger reach than me came to the same conclusion.

It's pretty easy to understand, there's nothing outrageously bad in the first few hours of the game and the combat is still relatively fresh, plus the only people that actually bought this are people who will shill for nu-BW no matter what

From what I've seen, the main reason is the game has good graphical fidelity and is well optimized (which is pretty remarkable for a AAA these days). The music is also nice, the hair looks great. And let's be honest, people are afraid that if they criticize the game they will be called a bigot. Which is probably a big deal in the social media world of today's kids.

Now I wonder, should I download 86 FREAKING GB, or should I watch it and hear words "clitoris" and hid potion into his ass? It also brighten the day by screaming "DIALOGUE WHEEL IS TRASH" (and has been trash for 20 years they are using it)

The thing the game does where it does pop-ups to inform you of things, it's REALLY insulting. Varric got hurt doing his plan thing, and I just talked to him and the game did a pop-up to tell me that Varric feels bad because his plan didn't work. Gee thanks so much for telling me that, heaven forbid I actually listen to what he's saying and maybe I dunno try to interpret human emotions for myself

Why not play something good instead? I'm replaying Baldur's Gate.

I wanted to play something new, otherwise I'd be replaying ELEX. It was German jank, but it was nice German jank.
