And then shoves Trannies Personal Journey narrative straight in the to players face and forces them to play it. Do I got the basics down?

A big part of the lore got raped by incoherences and incompetency since Origin anyway. Executing the whole south of Thedas without further ado was mercy at this point.

If you have to ask anything about lore it's because:

1. They didn't care.
2. They hate the old lore and playerbase.

Nobody says "I totally love the world omg" and means it then inexplicably changes everything, including even older installments retroactively.

If they ever make Mass Effect, they'll just ruin it beyond what Andromeda couldn't.

Yeah 88k on saturday night means Bioware is shitting bricks in their room waiting for papa EA to come and shut them down.

I think EA will give Bioware one more chance to make another Mass Effect game, since apparently the failure of Andromeda was blamed on the Montreal studio.

So we'll have to wait a few years, but one of these days the sun will be shining brightly... birds will sing... and Bioware will be no more.

No way mediocre sales will cause EA to shut them them, especially before Mass Effect 4.
They might do some "tough restructurization decisions" in a couple of months. It is a really bloated studio.

I don’t think we see that next Mass Effect game BioWare wants to go right into production on after this flop and the development cycle it had.

BioWare already made a fourth Mass Effect game, it too had a longer than expected development cycle, (it seems like the whole tone of Mass Effect: Andromeda shifted from the western themed 2015 announcement trailer to the final version of the game) and it didn’t preform like EA said they were expecting it to do. BioWare is now at a decade of failure. They spend years developing games that keep underperforming. EA has given BioWare a chance to succeed again with new Mass Effect and Dragon Age titles at this point...I really don’t see them giving BioWare another five (or more) years of pissing money away to have another flop.

If EA wants a new Mass Effect game they’d be better off giving the series to Respawn Entertainment or DICE. It’s a third person shooter series...just give it to a studio that can actually do that kind of gameplay for a change. It kind of seems weird EA would even think about making BioWare’s third person shooter Star Wars knockoff game while they’ve got Star Wars and have Respawn making those Star Wars Jedi games. A BioWare Mass Effect, even one that’s like four or five years out would also likely be buried by that Dune: Awakening game that comes out next year.
