• You're gay if you make a girl character because you're being a girl which is a gay act
• You're gay if you make a boy character because you have to look at a male character model and looking at boys is gay

So you're gay no matter what you do depending on who you ask. Only way to win is to not make a character at all.

I don't know about romance, to me that is the gayest thing of all to do in a video game no matter which character you make.

I never play as the inferior sex, but the rationale behind it is that if it's a third person shooter you might as well look at a woman's ass for hours than a man's one.

Besides, you can also avoid romances you know?
