New guy here, and as you can tel! from my user name, I like Dragons Dogma. Since you guys oddly enough started charting about story for once, I got to ask, does anyone think Daimon got screwed over royally by the universe? I know that's the nintention, but god damn everything just goes wrong for him

I already covered in my previous post that nothing good happened to the PC after he lost his heart. The same is true for any other Arisen as well, Daimon included. It's the one time when being a "chosen one" doesn't come with any perks at all, just a heap of shit. It's (almost) literally the Universe branding you with a huge FUCK YOU sign.

In other news, while the PC version is definitely still on my list of things to get, I am happy to report that I found my old DD:Dark Arisen disc for the PS3. I think I'll start one last PS3 play through of Dragons Dogma before the PC version comes out. I'll inform you of my Pawn once I've created it.

After playing it so much on the ps3 it looks weird without the black borders and low fps, it's going to take some getting used to.

At currently $5 on PSN it's tempting to get it on PS3 and buying the PC version next year the the winter sale, but maybe I should support good PC ports. $30 isn't really expensive for a game like this.

Hopefully there will be some pre order discount. So far I found one shop in Poland with bit lower price, maybe there are some in other countries too.

Pre-order should be up tomorrow on Steam. Probably comes with a 10-15% pre-order discount. Then add another 20-23% discount for the GMG voucher.
Confirmed it'll be on GMG?

It's on GMG now, but it's still "coming soon."
Ah neat. Didn't show up in the search box when I typed in 'dragon's' and I didn't look further than that.

No wonder it didn't, the name isn't spelled correctly on the site.

You get all the items you would've gotten if you owned Dragons dogma and upgraded to Dark Arisen, neat.

EDIT: "Unfortunately, the Berserk gear is not included in the game due to licensing restrictions."
