300k sounds like the price for the jest/costume items in the Black Cat. You are likely in the wrong shop. Look for the blacksmith next to the Inn.

If I understood mages besides making sure they have anodyne and halidol I'd judge builds

Not a complaint, just an observation. Also: Zombra's pawn is a zombie waifu. Goddammit Zombra.

Probably because most dudes made a dude and wanted a chick for a companion. I kinda wish my pawn was my main char, she definitely looks a lot fucking cooler but ah well.

I am not sure of one thing. Any idea if it depends on other playing paying rift crystals? So far I am just using pawn at my level so I am not paying it at all and I have no idea if pawn owners get anything beyond gift from me.

Put 10 hours in so far and its kinda bland, although i came in with no expectations so w/e

feels like every other open world game released in the last 10 years, big giant world with nothing exciting or unique in that world

am I missing something? quite a few of my friends are playing this game and raving about it but it seems so mediocre.

No, the idea is that your pawn 'finds the rift crystals and assorted treasures' from beyond the Rift. It depends on the level of content that your pawn faces with his new friends.

Lost and Found was cancelled when I did the pawn dungeon quest. I did venture over there but I met a purple crystal golem that was too op so I figured I had gone the wrong way. Lame.

If so, that really sucks. It costs 3500 rift crystals to repair rift stones in Bitterblack Isle. Player to level 27 netted me about... 4k rift crystals as loot.

I looked at reddit and it seems like the tip off is that you can look at your main pawn and see "unfamiliar foe" in its monster knowledge, which shows its been rented, since it has seen some enemy you haven't.
