I don't know why the [3] are so fucking hard to get, both somber and regular.

Next i need the regular Bell Bearing [2] and i can have some peace of mind for a while. Currently i'm at +10/+4, which feels pretty balanced for Altus. We'll see moving forward.

Spear guy is so polite now waiting its turn and not being up your ass the whole time with his jumping spear jab nonsense.

It's like they broke the AI for those specifically. The other duo fights were also passive but not like the Crystalians. I killed the other one and the spear guy still stood there doing shit while i did two whole jump attacks and only woke up on the third jump attack.

Getting bored of the Bastard Sword, so i'm gonna take the Claymore for a spin:



Giant took a lot longer than expected to knock down, guess they are starting to get more beefed up now.

So i tried parry-fu this guy and it actually works pretty well:



Fucker caught me unawares by doing that shield charge at close range, which i didn't expect. I also didn't try parrying the sword when it goes red, just assumed you can't.

I'm already starting to miss bleed lmao need to find a way to maximize damage on the Claymore and see if it's comparable when you total the entire output.

Ok, so i tried to test it but i'm not sure what to think of it. First is with the Bastard Sword and bleed. Second is with regular Claymore:




Not a good test as those black flame whirlwinds in the second phase just break the flow and it's hard to keep up any kind of momentum or bleed build up. I also don't like the crouch attack of the Claymore. The Bastard Sword does that awesome whip lash but the Claymore goes on a lounge attack that seems to be slower (or maybe i'm just not used to it), so i defaulted with hit and run jump attacks.

I'll try again on the beefed up version in Caleid later on. Technically i could just slap bloody slash on the Claymore but i need to try to get off that cluch.

Alright, you guys remember when i said i wasn't gonna make a beeline to items, just pick them as i go naturally?

Just wasn't feeling the Claymore, too prestigious for a wrech i'll save it if i ever make a full paladin build or something.

So i picked up the Fire Scorpion Charm (literally drive by horse running into it and out lmao) and went finish up Redmane Castle to get the FLAMberge and fire whetstone thingy, and this are the results of going full on fire:



Ho yeah baby, really kicking into high gear now. Flameberge even has some bleed on it but i'll focus on fire and if i get a proc whatever.

Weapon is still at +10 even though i got enough material to go way beyond that can't believe i'm SL1 and i'm still trying hold back lmao. New house rule i'll probably break eventually anyway: no going past +10 until i get the next bell bearing.
