I believe the "rebel clothing sets" are the best armor for factionless characters. You can buy them from Lasse in Fort.

i've just decided to play this with shadows permanently off because otherwise i have to keep restarting and trying different saves over and over each time i start the fucking game
I was having great fun with the game until PB decided to cockblock me. Pausing my playthrough now while waiting for a Hotfix. The first Patch dropped just when I was about to visit the last faction on my list, namely the Albs. And unfortunately the Patch introduced major (as in can't continue) bugs with the Alb quests.

First trailer was very obviously not in-game footage, not unlike the cinematic trailer from Dragon Age: Origins and so on.

Great mod, huge improvement. Went with the 70 FOV myself. Absurd that a modder had to do this, rather than PB just fixing the thing they never should have put in their game in the first place. Reeks of stubbornness more than laziness or inability.
Nexus is like a very tight butthole. It doesn't open easily or for everyone. But if you manage to get access and you put something in there, you can't ever take it out.
Tried the fov mod, it is much better. Performance still left something to be desired. I am good waiting a month while playing elden ring

Yeah like I wrote in my original post, the bug was introduced with the first patch. Steam Forum is overflowing with people reporting the same issue after patching.

I've still got the ELDEN RING equipped, and haven't installed ELEX 2. Might actually end up doing a 2nd ELDEN RING playthrough before ELEX 2.
Does this mean that my username must be revoked? Technically it only refers to the original game though.

There's a mod for it. So that shouldn't be the issue.
It is a cool, very necessary mod btw., and lol @ whoever asked the modder to release a 42 FOV version.
