The moment I heard Sheng and everytime I've visited Bunker Hill I wanted to perforate those little cocksuckers with my 12 caliber boomstick.
The first time I heard him I got flashbacks of "Biwwy" and the whole "Wittle Wampwight" shit came back to me. Why can't Bethesda into good child VA. And to add insult to injury SynthShaun even builds you the "Wazer Wifle" from broken toasters. Seems they are still mighty proud of that shitty idea.
Same for Nat, what an annoying brat. But then again, she comes right after her mother sister Piper. Heh, first time I met them I thought "yeah, 50s society, unmarried singlemom, that's so not her "sister". But I doubt Beth would dare to touch something like that.

At least my toon's constant "stupid brat" and "I hate kids" mumbling gave me a good excuse to stop searching for Shaun. He has a new family and the guy who should've paid 18 years for him is dead anyway. Time to party like it's 2076 again! And stay away from the park this time.

Apparently Amazon has a lot of extra stock of physical copies. On Saturday they were listed around $37 and given their pricing algorithm that keeps dropping the price until X number of sales stabilizes it; it has now sunk to around $33 and still dropping. Might have to pull the trigger around $25, bros!

So much far has this game come along in terms of mods?

Not a thing. And the first is supposedly Q1 this year... so... two months at the latest? Have a feeling it's going to be really shit/tacked on stuff even worse than FO3's DLC.

Knowing Bethesda's usual MO, they will either release a bunch of lackluster DLCs every 2 months after release to quickly cash on the popularity, or release a bunch of decent ones every 6 months.

Consindering the rather disappointing response FO4 got, I guess it we will get a "Relive the battle for XYZ in a Mammary Den lounger!" DLC before the end of january.

A Final Goodbye To Fallout: A Fans Farewell

Fallout 4 marked the end of my interest in the franchise. Not because it’s a bad game, but because it’s no longer the franchise I knew. The changes made clearly had the desired affect. Fallout 4 sales hit impressive numbers, brand recognition increased and critics love it.

No longer do I see Fallout as the franchise I can count on for quality RPG experiences. The last two games may have been departures from the originals, but they still had numerous core elements. Numerous dialogue options, deep side quests and builds that affected the whole game. All Fallout 4 had was Nick Valentine and a decent map.

Turns out that Fallout 3 had
Numerous dialogue options, deep side quests and builds that affected the whole game
.
Nice.

Wait, there is more:

So long Fallout, the franchise that introduced me to so many wonderful things. Harold, the man turned tree. Dog Meat, the best dog you could ever ask for. Cannibals with manners, Super Mutants with brains and mystery strangers. All the sweet stuff that Fallout has contained. It may be changing into something I don’t like, but least I’ll have the memories.

Harold turned into tree and cannibals = sweet stuff.

Even fallout 4 haters declined :(

Thankfully there is a rpgcodex a one place not touched by retardation, i'm sure of it:

The 2D environments of the Infinity Engine either match or beat current game environments rendered entirely in 3D, especially when viewed in high resolution.

Nevermind.

Infinity Engine backgrounds looked real. FO4's background, and about everything else, look like plastic toys.

The truth hurts doesn't it?

Yep, inbred engine games like bg1 looks better and have better "game environments" than witcher 3.
Such bad taste. No wonder you're an SitS fanboy.
Nostalgia too strong mate. Can't you tell those 640x480 backgrounds were much more real than this plastic shit nowadays?

I mean it's not like I should be one to talk, since I do dislike most newer games for one reason or another, but most infinity engine games looked... decent? Certainly not way better than some of subsequent 3D enviroments.

This is all i'm saying.
Preferring inbred engine 2d gfx to 3d gfx is fine, implying that all modern 3d games are either barely on par or even inferior graphically ( both art-design wise and from technical pov ) to inbred engine games is pure retardation.

IMO it's not a question of 2D vs 3D, both are completely fine from where I stand. It's good 2D vs bad 2D and good 3D vs bad 3D.

High quality always beats low quality, no matter the dimensions.

True, but according to some codexers, there is no such thing as good 3D, never was.

Funny butthurt internet reactions to Fallout 4, some people are complaining they do the same shit over and over again, you just go some place, shoot dudes and loot, they are complaining that the Fallout series is becomming Assassins Creed. Really people, after Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Skyrim only now people are noticing Bethesda's "game design". I guess it is this repetitive, pointless open world trend that reached peak decline and forced an Awakening.

Real? Who gives a shit if something looks real? What matters is if it looks good.
Good isn't a 2D vs 3D thing, good is a good vs bad art direction thing.
If you mean the IE games have better art direction then Fallout 4 then I would tend to agree.

pretty much, Fallout 4's art direction feels overall bland. There isn't really any deep coloration towards the environment, as too much of it is focused on...shit brown, muddy orange, and crusty red. Idiots must be living in an apartment in a city, otherwise they would've known, like any average joe who's ever owned a yard, that nature tends to say "Fuck you" anytime humans forgot/refuse to maintain it, even in a matter of days, and no, 'magic radiation' that lasts 100% longer than normal radiation wouldn't hold back life, as it's always been a tenacious bastard in terms of plantlife.

Weapon design doesn't help as well.
