The Legion are handled badly but the decision between House, NCR and independence was very good, I thought.

I read somewhere that Obsidian was forced to remove many things about Legion (Including a pro legion companion and a few settlements ran by legion) due to time limit.
In other words: Bethesda shafted Obsidian yet again because they're butthurt cunts.
God forbid FONV was any better than it ended up being, they might have had to pay Obsidian extra in that case.

I'm over 30 h and having a blast. Sure, it can't compare to New Vegas in terms of complexity, writing and C&C but I have to admit that it's a major improvement over F3. Another game from Obsidian using this engine would be a dream come true. I loved RAGE and F4 is a Rage x 2 :D.
Still hoping InXile does a Van Burren game but with modding support.
Please kill yourself.

You are having a blast because you're a moron.
You may not think that of yourself because it's understandable but having a "blast" despite this game having "features" that challenge good taste, intelligence and common sense says a lot about your mental abilities.

But don't forget!
"If you LIKED it, BUY the game!"
So Todd can have funds to shovel streamlined shit up your ass in the future or acquire more old franchises and bring them up to the high standards on nowadays so that drones like you would enjoy their new deep and exquisite design.

Do they desperately need them? I thought it was just the price of admission.

BTW If you find the cat for the girl she gives you a fusion core.

No my good friend that does not says anything about me. Do not judge someone from a post! I will buy it at a discount maybe. I still rather pay my money to companies like InXile or Obsidian. I still prefer isometric CRPG's over first person but that didn't stop me from having fun with the game.

The Errant Signal guy is dead wrong. Gifted = super hero status. Also, game is still better than POE.

Mechanically - yes (Settlements, PA, crafting etc). World building wise - absolutely no.
This 110%. I've never heard anyone say Fo4 is a more complex game than NV, because that statement is so wrong that it'll probably send anyone into cardiac arrest if they realized what they just said.

The world is so disjointed that it's a wonder the same company was able to make Morrowind. Seriously every bit of narrative design falters, and it's quite a sad thing to see.

My friend this entire forum is dedicated to butt hurt and shit slinging, you're in the wrong place if you want a loving environment.

But back on topic, I do agree that it's an improvement over Fo3 in a few areas, and yes it does feel like Rage. Yet the issue is that no one wanted Fallout to become a mindless loot fest that was somehow an even shallower experience than Fo3 in terms of story and world building, and yet here we are.

Don't want a loving environment I'm just saying it's wrong to say to someone you really don't know that "you should kill yourself" or make them "morons" just because that person has a more positive opinion about the game. Fallout 3 and 4 in my opinion are something like a spin off. They don't really reflect the world of original Fallout.

They don't. The Securitrons rise up from the Legion's Camp and fuck it up, pretty much insta-losing them the battle. The others are probably from the ones already active and in House's service.

See I thought that my first play through but it's never mentioned in the cut scene..
They basically say that the Legion keeps going on but loses their foothold in the Mojave..

But never mention the "Slaughtering of the Legion camp by Securitrons"
I was actually waiting for that cutscene in the ending but it never came.

Dude it's just words. Just because someone says to kill yourself or that you're a moron doesn't mean they actually want you to kill yourself or that you should listen.
RPGCodex is lost in time, pretend it's 2004 when you're on this forum and stop whining about every little insult. Or leave.

The Camp on top of the inactive securitrons is their foothold in the Mojave. Every other area controlled by the Legion is an outpost or a staging ground for more raids.

This is pretty astute. I thought even New Vegas lost "characterness" in a majority of situations and the PC became a pure content probe instead just because the conceit is constantly being worn down by the acidic effects of Bethesda-style open world and the base FO3 system.

I wonder whether the vestigial RPG stuff they don't know to remove has any upside at all for their audience.
