While I'm certain that the NoVR Mod isn't going to turn the game into a stellar experience at any point, it still feels like the thing needs a bit of work to make gunplay and movement tolerable. Anyways, it was fun for what it was nonetheless !

So I just played through this game, all in all it was a decent experience but seeing all those overwhelming reports on steam I was kind expecting better. The game is enjoyable, and certainly its polishing deserves great praise so great kudos to Valve in that regard. But the gameplay wasn't quite so great, and to be honest I am not looking forward to playing it again. In my opinion the game doesn't quite know what it is about, at times it feels like Mass Effect in VR, ducking down to not get shot and firing back at combine grunts when they are not firing, at times it feels like a series of scape rooms and at some other times it feels like Alien Isolation in VR. Don't take me wrong I enjoyed it, but had it been a 50 hour long game I would have never have finished, luckily it was a lot shorter.

All in all and given that I bought it n a sale for 25ish eurobucks, a decent buy, But nothing more.
