While I generally enjoy the game, some things are a bit awkwardly behind the times.

Like some of the graphics. The models, environments, etc. all look good, but the facial animations are very stiff, almost robotic. I have trouble believing that there wouldn't have been better facial animation software available for their engine (UE4?).

Of course, the PC port has issues on its own.
None that have affected me much so far, but the amount of people having problems with it makes it fairly clear I might be in a minority here.

Runs just fine on Linux, too.
Not too surprising, since it's officially supporting the Steam Deck.

I am surprised how much pull Harry Potter still has. From all that people have said its a rather mediocre game, but apparently, the Potter setting is enough to make people go crazy over it

I work as a santa half the year. I meet thousands of kids every year and huge amount of them are still asking for Harry Potter presents. Ages 3-9 ask for Potter legos and 7-13 ask for books or other related merchandise. Some tweens and teens even asked me for Hogwarts Legacy preorders. I don't think Potter is going away anytime soon.

It is gut-bustingly funny that Codex has a fucking mall Santa among its ranks.

There were other failed attemps (and not only by the trans-activists), which clearly indicates that the majority of people don't really care about their views nor what the ultraliberal media try to promote. But that isn't the power limited only to "these people". This is the power of anyone who has access to social media and has the right kind of "hooks" to screw you over (or when you posted something really stupid, which is pretty much kind of a self-inflicted harm).

It's also the matter of what kind of boss you have. A corporation (for example) will cut off ties with you really fast, because all they care about is their image and they don't want a PR nightmare when they can quickly replace you with another drone, which helps giving power to people who try to "cancel" someone. The less your employer depends on PR and the more he knows you, the safer you are. Remember that one guy reporting to Warhorse Studios that Vavra is a terrible person because he was "currently implying people of color are incompetent"? It didn't pan out (because Vavra was a founder of the studio in question).

This game looks like a mash up between Dragon Age: Inquisition and some sort of Assassin's creed that's worse than both. A game that is supposedly revolving around magic and all their magic is lasers? I have never seen anything more degenerate in my life. This honestly looks worse than Korean MMOs.
