Snoop Dogg was recently doing some kind of video game promotion, maybe you should pay him to play this.

I'd watch it tbh.

But how much historically accurate would be for Snoop Dogg to do promotion for Kingdom Come? Were there any Vailians in Bohemia at that time?

P.S.

It would have been freaking hilarious, humiliate SJW crowd while at same time being great promotion and making everyone laugh if Martin Lawrence made a promo video for this game. Especially considering that Vavra once already tweeted in response to some braindead SJWs movie he played in.

Nothing against Darth Roxor but I particularly hope for Bubbles review; his review of Fallout 4 is alongside Vince's review of Oblivion my favourite text published on this site (and probably two best reviews of any games on the internet).

How is it in the works if the devs said modding tools are under consideration?

It's in pre-pre-alpha state? In other words some dudes just said they'd work on it probably.

That's like saying my son hasn't been born yet but my grandson is already in the works.

More then enough for game journalists to not miss a chance to publish article with tag 'game of thrones'.

They know it's done in Cryengine, so they started making vissual assets in it. They are gonna be splendidly butthurt if the modding tools are not released.

I'm hoping that with KCD, and Deadfire releasing soon, 2018 will be remembered as the year of C&C in RPGs! :)
Or it will be rembered as another year of failures and disappointments - after Wasteland 2, PoE, Torment, Shadowrun, and pretty much every RPG funded via Kickstarter?

Let's gamble!

They probably understand Cryengine tech and know how to meddle with the source files. It's not really that hard. The nonexistent tools would just make it more convenient.

I just looked over the GOG page. It's a crying shame there is no Cz voice localization, I'd love to play it in the original language with English subtitles. Are there any commitments, plans, wishes, on the devs' part to add voiceovers in more languages? Once the revenues begin pouring in :)

My guess is we'll get the Czech dubbing if the game is successful and they have some extra dough to blow. Right now it'd be hilariously wasteful, the Czech market is tiny.

And even then I wouldn't get my hopes up. Decades ago we used to be a cinema powerhouse, with world-class directors, writers and artists and legendary actors. Today Czech cinema is dumb, cheap, unambicious grey blob and almost all the great actors are long dead. Warhorse would have to scrape the very "elite" of Czech acting, measly as it is, in order for the dubbing to be marginally acceptable and that would push the cost even higher. Sad.

Funny you mention that, I remember watching Czech animation as a kid on national TV. You're right about the market being small, I didn't think of that, and I hope they decide to add Czech dubbing. Another feature I would have welcomed would be face customization, but I guess if I was able to play Witcher 3 for 600 hours with the default mug and with French voice, I can do the same with KCD without complaining :D

Czech and Russian animation was top notch during the Cold War. Many of our artists, directors and actors would be swimming in Academy Awards if they were born American. Not anymore tho.

I'm not sure why they didn't do that, maybe it's too difficult or even impossible. Personally I don't give a damn but there are a lot of people on Steam claiming they won't buy the game just bc the lack of that. We live in an age of customization and for many people irrelevant cosmetic BS is way more important than all the features developers usually obsess over. That's just a fact whether we like it or not.

Vaporware and mod teams name a more iconic duo.

Need to master the art of not clicking on any mod team's spiel unless it has the word "v1.0" in the title.

C'mon, it's the first mod which everybody knew would be eventually made.
I won't play it 'cause I don't stand GoT, but out of here it's plenty of people who will purchase the game only to install this mod, or a similar one.

I've no idea what are they expecting. The same sort of cinematic feel and high production values as the original KCD? How do you even make a mod like that without it looking irredeemably dorky, lame and embarrassing? What kind of character models will they use? What kind of mo-cap? Who'll do the voiceovers? Who will write the damn thing?

This sounds exactly like a 12 year old boy thinking "Imma build myself a space shuttle and go to the Moon!" And then he finds some old tractor wheels, a few nails, gets bored and hungry and goes home.

I am absolutely considering that GoT mod to be a pipe dream, but at least it made few websites write about KCD so no harm done.
