Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Second puzzle that I can click anywhere in the screen and nothing happens and this is a mandatory puzzle :despair:

Even tested in M$ Windows and same bug...

Any way that I can use the module selector and skip puzzles?

Report the bug to Pierre in the Steam forums or by email.

Dorateen How I can change the script to bypass bugged puzzles? I'm sorry for marking you but I tried to write the goto riddle solved when the player clicks on hint, but din't worked. Any way to put message logs in scripts and have a visual feedback? Other question. Only for me when I click nothings happpens?

I never worked with interactive puzzles like this in the module editor. Can you tell what the script is attached to, like a trigger or a door or some other object? It might be possible to just delete the script and bypass the puzzle that way.

noticed there is no steam workshop, so where will modules and alternative monster + character tokens be uploaded/downloaded? At his website? I hope some people make or upload some cool tokens.

Finished the tutorial dungeon, clocking at about 14.5 hours at 2nd highest difficulty. Avatar is Elf Champion. Kinda badly optimized because the floor for the "dump stats" are all very high for elf making a balanced melee character with decent WIS a pain.

In general you are given enough resources starting from "mid game" onwards to get a decent build going, item wise, through crafting.

Most memorable encounter is probably the stairs. Fucking stairs. I think I repeat that one encounter 10+ times. To make it worse if you haven't had anybody knocked unconscious, dying from the stairs and triggering the tutorial for unconscious/death will result in a crash. Fuck stairs.

Most difficult encounter would be the optional Red Dragon. Breath weapon every 2 turns is no joke and the battle is basically a damage check.

Another memorable one is the optional Cleric recruitment fight who can summon rape tentacle that hit 3 times@30 damage each. It's basically game over if the Cleric got that out. This is I guess is the issue with the initiatives. On 2nd try I got good roll and basically being able to prevent him for casting that easily result in victory.

Final encounter is uh, surprisingly one dimensional. Decided to slap Haste and summon some dwarves as the dialogue choice. This is great btw, a reasonable way to allow prebuffing for combat without diminishing the importance of action economy. Great design. The encounter itself is just about managing the big skeletons who will abuse Slide/Bull Rush to get you to take environment damage and throwing AoE spells to kill the Vampire warlock. The rest is easily manageable.

Not sure if it is a parody, but Pierre decided to put romance in the Tutorial with the Nymph rogue. Kinda cute. Unfortunately the rest of the companion are pretty static.

Overall a very satisfying module.

Strap Yourselves In Codex Year of the Donut Codex+ Now Streaming! Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.
Honestly if tokens vs. sprites is a big hang up for you, you’re probably not going to enjoy the game at all.

Also, the tokens are actually very charming and they frame the game in a little bit different way. At least for me, I sometimes get bothered when sprites are not updated with my new armor set or weapon, but I didn’t care at all with the tokens because they were merely placeholders. The focus was entirely on the gameplay, which is quite good, even if it is soul-suckingly difficult.

Tokens are for boomer 60+ year old Wargamers who use to setup Axis & Allies boardgames in the late 70s that took 2 hours just to setup the map. Sprites are for newfags from the 80s and early 90s who grew up on Gold Box Games, either way your old AF, take your pick.
nobody (maybe millennials, but they don't count) considers axis and allies a wargame or played it in the 70's

1981--- close enough. Old as fuck either way. And if it isn't the classic grognard "beer & pretzels" wargame on a board then WTF is it? Say something that doesn't make you seem even more pedantic and m'lady fedora tipping than you already did, I beg of you.

From achievement it seems I missed... something in the Tutorial. Namely the Greater Avenger achievement where you are supposed to defeat Loremaster Astaroth with some Devil at the same time. Not sure how to achieve that but two things come to mind
The Astaroth dude gives you a quest but being goody two shoes I just kill him. Maybe it's that? Other possibility is cipher puzzle which I just skip because fuck it.

Does anybody has the solution for the cipher puzzle? I don't think my English is good enough to get that out of the bat and I am too lazy to spend too much time on it.

As some people said, the UI sucks. Not terribly but it does suck a little. Worse than KotC 1 and the fact that KotC 2 is a more complex doesn't explain everything.
Other than the above a i have a blast. I can't remember a game where i had to reload a battle in... tutorial. I think that the initiative plays too big of a role so far but this is a minor complaint. I was able to set up the game so that it opens in a sensible resolution - without the risk of me loosing sight because some Frenchman had too little roots and forgot to add more display options.

Him being pedantic or not doesn't change the fact that you don't know what are talking about. Beer and pretzels doesn't really refers to a wargame. "Wargame" != any game about some war. It is a genre of games, boardgames and by extension computer ones too. Often made with really autistic people in mind.

Can you tell me how to do this too?
Fullscreen is constantly crashing. Fixed windowed screen is too uncofmortable for human eyes.

I don't think you have the same issue but if it helps i'm using this : http://www.bcheck.net/apps/reso.htm
Anyone with some knowledge wouldn't need to use it, but for me it works. But if fullscreen is crashing for you...

Look who's back!

I can't believe 20 people found this helpful.

What am i missing? Is this guy known on the Codex?
Jarl Frank is fighting great fight in trying to expose a villain on Steam forums.

Aside of that, it's irrelevant storm in glass of water. (It's basically a person who didn't understand he can buy stuff and don't have EXCLUSIVE rights for it.)

From what I've read, he didn't understand that he has to pay for some stuff at all. Drop it, i just curious and there is a thread about the guy already.

Bought this, am playing through the first one properly first. Just messed around a bit previously until I got fucked over by the spiders.

I really hope this gets a decent module making community. I can't quite hack the gold box games but would love an endless stream of that sort of content in an engine like this one.

Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Grab the Codex by the pussy RPG Wokedex Strap Yourselves In Codex Year of the Donut Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath I helped put crap in Monomyth
I do worry a bit how much of an audience this game is going to get. It was never going to sell well, but Pierre is totally off his rocker with the current price tag.

It needs a decent niche audience for modules to become a thing.
