Has the interview been recorded yet? Is there still time to ask questions?
Lots of great advice here on game dev from a man who's seen it all. We also talk about Axis & Allies Online. Stay tuned to the end of the video for a sneak peek and special announcement from George Ziets!

Can anyone explain to me how and when RPG Codex turned into a cesspit? I mean, the frontpage is fine, but holy shit that forum is so bad now. Kinda makes the whole genre look bad, TBH.

Shadowrun it used to be a nice place until some mystery dwarf from Hungary (yeah right) started posting there. It’s been declining ever since.

What did they mean by this.
Great stuff here from George Ziets! We chat about the pivotal role Stuart Smith's Adventure Construction Set played on George's career. Then we get into Westwood's short lived Earth & Beyond MMO, Neverwinter Nights 2, and strongholds in CRPGs.
Lots more great stuff from the one-and-only George Ziets, Digimancer! We chat the real value of expansions, creating a tight narrative for a CRPG, how many choices are too many, behind the scenes at Mask of the betrayer, small vs. large studios, and much more!
Lots of great discussion here on game narratives. We also get into BTS stuff on Dungeon Siege 3 and some problems George has with his favorite game, Planescape: Torment.
Great topics here including ToEE, PoE, Wasteland 3 and Fig, innovation from Indies, unexplored campaign settings, and plenty of game design advice from a pro.
Coming up next - not Kevin Saunders but Colin McComb:
