This video made me sad, it exposed some stuff I wasn't aware of, like the economy not being simulated whatsoever, not even in any slightest manner

Was installing mods today, so many dead ones. The fix is extremely simple - TaleWorlds pays the modder for an update every time, it can be something simple like $500. Would cost the company nothing, but it'd keep the mods alive and this increases shelf life.
All companies should do this one simple trick...

LizardWizard it's not something you can disagree with. The combat is where the game shines, and the combat shines when you use the most elite troop - the Khan's Guard. Destroying armies with the Khan's Guard is the supreme experience of Bannerlord.
Then there is a bunch of secondary content that you can play around with that at best serves your adventure as a mongol but that can be enjoyed for secondary reasons.

In The Name of Jerusalem 2, at least, looks like the best thing since sliced bread. Virtually all the things that are fucking SHIT about butterlord get fixed. Unfortunately, it's still like a year away from release...

I wonder if Taleworlds are even working on this game, any chance for expansion is probably nonexistent. I wish that outside studios would make their own standalone expansions like WFaS and VC, tbh any outside effort would probably be superior to those lazy Turks.
Well at least it looks like those big mods will start to release public versions this year.

It's clearly in maintenance mode with only crashes getting fixed. Given it's been over 2 years since release and there are still dozens of those means the codebase must be in horrible shape.

As for mods, I suspect the long wait times are the price for better graphics. Everyone takes trillion years to model every armor, castle, and village in high detail

Is there anything like the Warband mod The Last Days for Bannerlord?

That was my favorite.
Kingdoms of Arda that Is very slow.....and Tales from the Age of Men that seems to split from It.
They aren't finished and have no release date.

Lol apparently there was chinese Three Kingdoms mod that was in works for few last years. It gathered over 60k dollars in crowdfunding and its leader claimed he was an industry veteran that worked on many titles. First version got released sometime ago and apparently its a bugged mess, it looks like that leader completly lied about his experience and he was caught stealing assets.

Yeah, i guess Mount and Blade is popular enough for that in China. In the name of Jerusalem 2 also has big part of devs from China as far as i know.
Once some overgrown chinese Warband mod got released as a separate paid game on Steam for whatever reason, compared to that crowdfunding of mod doesnt seem as wild.

We all know that from the legal perspective China is practically a parallel dimension where all kind of weird shit is possible. Besides many Bannerlord mods are already funneled with Patreon money, i wouldn't be surprised if many gamers wouldn't care for the legal reasons as long as they would get new quality Mount and Blade stuff. It also shows how retarded Taleworlds is for ignoring Bannerlord, they sit on private source oil and gold but do nothing with it.

Shame what happened to Mount and Blade, compared to first one I barely played it. Felt too much wankery over the siege aspect and they forgot the first one was a harmonious distribution in several aspects of the content. You wanted to be a merchant there was content and danger around to make it satisfying, merc gameplay, Vigilante warband and so on.
Given that everything is static outside of being a noble made me sad.
