Someone can explain why this is illegal (I'm not an expert, sorry)?
Isn't Unity a free engine?
It is but how many devs/pubs do it and actually get sued?False advertising is illegal. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they got sued over the multiplayer thing.I wonder how close this is to being illegal (misleading and lying), but then again this is the games industry.
What a glorious day to be alive! Two years of hype destroyed in five minutes! :russia:Some things miners found about this game:
There are a total of 17 different kinds of animals
There is (looks to be) 5 different kinds of NPCs
There are only 4 different planet hazards (Cold, Heat, Radioactive, Toxic)
Both blood splatter & poop splatter are the same pattern
Shaders are dated back to 2008
No unique giant creatures, anything large will just be an upscaled version of what we already see, and there's no universe secrets other than portals
the future is bright
Who would sue them? Apparently people everywhere are digging this turd. And in the end, it's all about the dollars. Who cares if they never make a game again, the scam has already been conducted.
I don't think this team is really up for it. All the systems they've made are seriously lacking in any depth and they're derping about "this is an exploration game!" so it's all just to serve the exploration of what their randomizator randomly randomizes up. I won't be surprised when the base building is just as shallow and repetitive as all the other systems. They don't even have a decent interaction with the players about the development unlike other EA games (huehue) which often publish in-depth development updates etc.I think in a year, with all the extra content and polish, the game will worth it on a sale.
Of course they are up for it. The alternative is unemployment. Future updates will be payed DLC, insect races and shit...I don't think this team is really up for it.
