Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Is that Colin McComb? The guy next to Feargus in the first pic.

Yep. That's the Torment team.
Any of those people still working on CRPGs besides the usual suspects?

Good question, I'm not sure if anybody has done a comprehensive "Where are they now?" for PS:T. Though I guess it was seen as not so necessary since one particular usual suspect is generally though to have created most of the game.

But here's the data: http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/planescape-torment/credits

Right off the bat you can see that the lead programmer of PS:T is still doing his thing at Obsidian.

I'll save you the trouble of answering the tedious survey...

I don't understand - doesn't the fact that this survey is posted on humanresources.paradoxplaza.com suggest that they will announce they are hiring people for a project, not necessarily announcing a new game?

If Pillars had xp per kill, xp junkies would clear out the Skaen Temple and complain about it instead of just taking the back door.
This is nonsense. Pillars is a game predicated on combat first, its 80% of what you do. PoE has more in common with torchlight than it does with bloodlines or SSR.

If it is not rewarding enough to play on its own, stop playing our terrible game.
Its a great idea. What i dont get is why it hates being an RPG.

The response was not intended to be snarky, but 100% sincere. If participating in a specific type of core gameplay is not enjoyable on its own, our game is bad and I sincerely encourage people to not engage in it/not play the game. There is one main thing we want to reward with XP in our game: pursuing and completing quests. Our quests are unique, they cannot be repeated, and they typically can be completed in a number of different ways using a number of different gameplay mechanics. If you get tired of talking to people to solve quests, start provoking fights. If you get tired of fighting, start sneaking around. If none of those things are fun anymore, then the game's not fun anymore. I don't want to motivate people to grit their teeth while using gameplay mechanics they hate because there's an XP incentive for doing so.
The quests sucked actually, and repeating them on replays, especially if you wanted to try a different class, was painfully shit. Also i love how this guy uses the retarded excuse of XP = carrot in a stick to make their horrible combat, that you trip over every 3 minutes, even more punishingly boring and pointless.
Takes all special kinds of retards to make a shit game i imagine.

Talking about xp per kill and distribution of beastiary XP, I really had fun with how there is only one use of the Queen Spider in the whole game (Cave in Dyrford Crossing) and when you kill it, it's automatically 100% bestiary, giving you about 1300 xp.

That's not true. There is also a queen spider in the Endless Paths, and I'm fairly certain that each one gives you %50 bestiary XP, but I could be mistaken on that part.

You're probably right about there being another Spider Queen in Od Nua. Then apparently I was both lucky and had high lore on the character who killed it, because I got 100% from the first one killed.

Yes, I think there's a Spider Queen-Queen Spider in the very first level of the Endless Paths, way down Maerwald.

As always, Pathfinder proves itself to be the blandest of all options, but the one most people will buy anyway.

Maybe they're working on Dungeon Siege IV. If they had a solid camera and actual fun loot to get, I'd play it with my brother, no doubt.
