Actually I'm mucking about on both sides of the fence, and was wondering more about account based things.
Well, account-bank slots, good. Additional Pylons are a must for anyone looking to get into farming and abandon abject poverty. Leech ship, good for KDF. Fed doesn't quite have any must-haves like that, Fed consoles tend to suck nuts.

Had to restrain myself quite a bit over the weekend as I just got back into the game in time for the ship sale, and I'd rather take my good sweet time figuring out which one is worth getting as I'm a little more than what you'd call impulsive (ie: almost picked up one of the fighter craft as one of my characters hit the 'Vault' story mission.)
Honestly, that wouldn't have been a bad move, albeit for the wrong reasons. I picked them up, too. But RIGHT reason: upcoming SHUTTLE NO WIN. WRONG reason: Some shitty story mission.

Err, I'm guessing 'Pylons' translates to 'Character slots'? Sorry, my lingo to this entire thing extends as far as 'catfood.'
Pretty much. It increases your population cap. It's a Pylon. YOU MUST CONSTRUCT ADDITIONAL PYLONS.

Ah, wiki for Leadership has been updated. So yeah I guess after getting Tac Rommies the rest should (ideally) be human (Fed-side).

Thanks for info.

Yea, for Feds the only C-Store stuff to care about are the actual endgame ships themselves like ie Odyssey, Avenger, Kumari, Regent, Tempest, Armitage or Vesta (triple pack is good due to Vesta having all the awesome Fed consoles for itself; the rest are on the Kumari). No "for the console" ships on Fedside really.

Well no, dont take the Regent because the Excelsior is cheaper and more effective at doing what the Regent does, only reason you would ever want the Regent if if you like the Sovy looks.

Plus the Galaxy-X makes a mean FaW ship, the Excelsior would have better turn and a Lt Cmdr but the Galaxy-X is more tanky, plus it have a hangar and if you want extra defense ... well Flight Deck Officers that raise defense in Recall command, 3 purples ... 30% Defense.

Apparently that doff is FUBAR'ed and doesn't quite work anymore since the hangar bay changes.

Ah, good. I see my all time favourite BONNIE KIN!! is back.:dead:

I didn't even know it was a featured episode. I thought it was part of the story missions, hence my complete avoidance of the story campaign on new characters, lest I find myself in Derpzana Station with the galaxy's most useless flying torch again.

I've decided to reinstall this shit during the night to see if that helps for crashing, but the installer has crashed. :negative:

I am literally unable to play, the game works for 15 minutes at a time tops. Most of the time it ends with a CTD, but I also got a couple of blue screens.

If you're getting BSODs I doubt that STO is the problem.

From my own experience, STO is pretty fucking sensitive to memory problems.

For a KDF player, the big shiny thing is the Vandal Destroyer Leech Console.

May I interest you in something from the Battlecruiser line sir? They're pretty much all great. Remember to hum the "V'Ger Battle" theme from the first Star Trek movie as you shop to properly set the mood.

Well, ship sale's over, so moot point. Besides, there's only TWO.

Yeah, it seems that my SSD may be fucked. Reinstall did not help but RAM tests don't find any problems.

Unless I misunderstood something, someone here mentioned buying new ships throuugh exchange. How does it work exactly?

Mirror universe ships, Lobi store ships and lock-box ships can all be sold on the exchange.

Most mirror universe ships are basically the same as the one you ca get for free at lvl 40 though lately they've released some more interesting versions.

The lobi and lock-box ships are more unique, generally really good and cost a small fortune to the average player.

Not yet. As always, I'd wish Norfleet would post a plan of attack here so we'd have something solid and permanent to go on instead of just ingame chat messages.

Well, we couldn't even organise the normal No Win, don't see how we'd get 20 together for this.

That's pretty much it, yes. Plus, I'm preoccupied with matters of far greater importance and wil not have time to attend the thing. Since all those events are massive 20-man things, there's no way in hell we'll pull a group. Plus, BUSY! MUST FARM MINERALS BEFORE MINERAL FARMING ENDS.
