You didn't pick "Spell Resistance: No" spells?
Some, Tsunami, few Acid ones, but in general they tend to deal more damage to my party than to enemy...
You didn't pick "Spell Resistance: No" spells?
Why did you focus on damage spells?
A Greater Summer Golem just rolled 3 natural 20's for Reflex Save (against Icy Prison) in a fucking row. There's a (0.05^3)*100 = 0.0125% chance of that happening.
RNG working as intended.
EDIT: FOUR IN A FUCKING ROW.
Totally not bugged as fuck.
Reached level 20
Still failed to kill Spawn of Rovagug.
Any way to increase my CL or reduce his SR?
This isn't a bug per se, but a poorly explained "feature". I'm not sure what it's called; but to represent some sort of defense from PnP, they get to basically take 20 on all saving throws against certain types of spells. You could run it 40 times, or 400, and the log would record him as having rolled 20 every time. Just be grateful that they fixed the bug where they got their 26 points of natural armor doubled to 52(!).
Why?they tend to deal more damage to my party than to enemy...
You just tried to encase a golem fueled by heat and literal sunlight in ice, and your immediate assumption is that the game is wrong, not you.A Greater Summer Golem just rolled 3 natural 20's for Reflex Save (against Icy Prison) in a fucking row. You're truly a fucking idiot.[You just tried to encase a golem fueled by heat and literal sunlight in ice, and your immediate assumption is that the game is wrong, not you.
My bad for:
a) Not having an immediate, in-depth physiological knowledge of a fantasy creature I'm seeing for the first time.
b) Looking at the logs and assuming they provide correct information.
c) Not knowing the precise laws of thermodynamics that apply in a high-fantasy setting where mostly everything can be, and usually is, explained by "magic lol".
Are you retarded?
I'm a butthurt fanboy with no arguments
Ok.I'm just too retarded to stop and think, even for a second.
That has been there since 1st Ed. Iron Golems, for example, are famously healed by fire damage, slowed by lightning and immune to everything else (later, they introduced non-SR spells and golems became vulnerable to those).Their stats state they're immune to paralyze and immobilized I think and golems are resistant to magic, and Icy Prison is a sr affected spell so eh
Whats cool about golems in pathfinder every type has 2-3 spells which weaken it (frost damage should actualy slow gold golems) and few that can "power up" it, depending on golem, but I don't think Kingmaker has this.
In terms of 3.5, fucking fuck flesh golems forever. That has been there since 1st Ed. Aren't flesh golems just giants?
Flesh golems were constructed using the physical body parts of once-living creatures. These would have to be collected from at least six different corpses, one for the torso, head (including the brain), and each limb, though sometimes more bodies were needed. The bodies used were often of humanoids or monstrous humanoids, but any physical living creature's parts are usable. Special unguents and bindings were required to keep the flesh bound together during creation.[3]
The spells animate dead, bull's strength, geas/quest, and limited wish were used in the creation of a flesh golem. The monetary cost of its construction was around 10,500 gold pieces.[3]
Sounds like Frankenstein's monster.
God, the more I try to play Cluckmaker, the worse it gets.
I am running a 2 Handed Figher as my main now, with an Elven Curve Blade, for the extra crit range. This is my AB at level 5:
5 BAB
+6 from Strength (21 base + 2 from equipment)
+1 from the weapon
-2 from power attack
+1 from weapon focus
+2 from weapon training (enhanced by lesser gloves of dueling)
= +13 for char
+1 from blessed spell from priest
+2 from Linzi's song
=+16
So with this ridiculously high AB for such a low level character, I can barely hit anything on Challenging (which is basically Normal difficulty). Ratnook hill wererats, Staglord, that skull, any kind of tougher than average enemy, I hit maybe once for every 6-7 attacks. This is beyond retarded. What's the point of even building up your character if you end up feeling gimped every step of the way?
Maybe you are just not smart enough to play this game?God, the more I try to play Cluckmaker, the worse it gets.
