I hope you guys enjoy this one! Lantern King is a real treat! He's my favorite boss in the entire game. I like him a lot. The video doesn't do him enough justice. I highly recommend fighting him on Unfair. He's too easy on Hard But on Unfair he puts up a real challenge. Lantern has his own musical themes and different phases. Such a nice fight.

It's actually funny that his 2 last illusion forms gave me a lot more trouble than his true form. He basically got hit by my MC's cornugon smash into thug frighten and spent the entire fight running away from me like a random mob

(Unless he's immune to fear effects and I'm just remembering wrongly, but he died quickly either way)

If you spare the Gobs at Goblin Village and spare Tsanna you get a Blessing from some cultists later on, but I don't remember getting that one.

Yeah that's one thing I don't like about this game. Bosses go down too quickly.

That's not a generic ring, it's a unique item (Ring of Circumstances) that you can buy at the Rushlight Tournament in Pitax for 370.000 gp. It's extremely cool: it allows you to choose up to 4 circumstance bonuses (to any ability, saving throws, damage rolls, armor class, skill checks, movement speed or spell DCs).

If you enjoy finding the way from point A to point B, then this is the game for you. If you'd rather bitch about the game ten minutes in, then it's not.

First half is wonderful, though the rigid structure and kingdom management are annoying. Second half of the game I thought was pretty meh, with the same annoyances on top.

I believe you can get 2 of those - like all other Pitax equipment - 1st during the tournament, 2nd once the merchants return to town. Of course, it's gonna cost you...

Should have +2 from STR. Can add +1 from Inspire Courage, +1 from Freebooter's Bane, and +1 from Harrim's Aura at that point. Hurricane Bow can get you a bigger die.

If I remember there was at least 3-4 switches with some back tracking. So I think you will need some people, yeah.
