Can't say I've noticed many bugs, I have seen that gender swap thing though.

Mostly what annoys me is abilities or items that still don't work correctly, or at all. I was looking at the Artifice domain but apparently the main ability doesn't even do anything :rpgcodex:

How important is the pet in mid-to-late game for the martial classes? Does not having a pet make up for having one down the road? Do you sort of gimp yourself by not having one?

Mad Dogs vs other barbarians
Bloodrider vs other Bloodragers
Cavaliers vs Disciple of the Pike (they don't have a mount/companion)
Hunter vs Ranger
Fighters

The land of ice and snow.
Strap Yourselves In Codex Year of the Donut Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath I helped put crap in Monomyth
I haven't tried any of those. As far as P:K goes though, the one that I felt most comfortable with was Inquisitor -> Sacred Huntsmaster, because you would share feats with the companion automatically, resulting in some seriously broken sequences.

I would try that one and see what happens.

Once you get a feel for the game you can do well with or without. I mean there’s people soloing the game so the difference between six and seven isn’t that big of a deal and yeah Mad Dog significantly gimps itself to get that pet, as does Huntmaster.

They really require an Alchemist to get really broken and they can start getting in the way once they upsize. Only place where you’ll really miss them is trying to start the game on Unfair but I don’t recommend doing that in any case.

That is good to know, thanks!

Desiderius Is it just me, or are the creatures summoned via "Summon Nature Ally" extremely weak, even with Augment Summoning? Is it the same in the case of "Summon Monster"?

They both take a while to get going. Monsters get there faster. Augment Summoning is probably a trap. Skeletons tend to be best of all, but don't sleep on Leopards and Lizards. And the late game stuff can do some damage as well.

It's.... not vanilla. May be best all around class in the game.

In base game, if you buff them properly, it's basically like having a free Fighter Merc. Except better because they have insane AC with zero items. And start the game with 5 APR.

Overpowered is putting it lightly.

Mad Dog isn't the best though, Cleric, Inquisitor, Sylvan Sorc or Druid are the best ways to get one

Druid as a class in and of itself is highly disappointing, though. You're basically an accessory to your pet, not the other way around. As much as it pains me to admit it, Sylvan Sorcerer is the way to go or the very, very complicated build of Mystic Theurge I've posted before.

Lol. Whenever you find yourself saying something like this in this game you can be sure your missing something. A big something. It is a lot of work to make Wild Shaping worth it but Druid itself is anything but disappointing.

Also, Desiderius, does the Ecclesitheurge has the BAB progression of a regular Cleric? I'm thinking about going Ecclesitheurge of Erastil with a Longbow once - if - that gender bug is fixed.

You don't want that because it's a pain to constantly move his Archon's Aura into range of the enemy and the power of Ranged toons (to make up for being less accurate due to lacking flanking and outflank) is not having to move.

Just let him cast while fighting Enlarged with Reach in the second line where he can snipe AoOs and keep his Auras in range.

So an Ecclesitheurge of Gozreh then... is it worth taking Versatile Channeller as a feat?

Enlarge isn’t Personal.

I’ve never tried Versatile Channeler. I guess if you go Selective then the Negative wouldn’t hit your team?

Only place I’ve really wanted Negative Channeling was making Jaethal a Cleric to kill Mandragora swarms, but theoretically it could be handy.
