Pong sure as hell was art.

Pong was the fulcrum of the second half of the 20th Century.

The transition of televisual technology from a passive medium to an active one will be studied for millennia.

That’s what Pong was, and let me tell you it felt like it at the time too. Would draw huge crowds, as did the first home versions.

I'm very into cock and ball torture
Let me ask you something. Since you mentioned MTG. How much of an impact did it have on you? Did it evoke any emotion? Does it hold a special place in your heart? Do you speak of it in passing to others? Do you praise it in endearing terms? That's my point. In my view, my favorite games transcend their medium, because they have a certain charm to them that is more than just being a video game. Age of Decadence has amazing writing that surpasses Planescape Torment. Ravenloft has gorgeous music. Bloodlines has a compelling narrative. Sure, we can distill these things to just being "components". Nothing more than little cogwheels in that big machine. Yet, that diminishes their value as pieces of artistic entertainment.

You know a couple weeks ago I was trying to get my little brother - he's a big Starcraft player - to play Dark Sun: Shattered Lands; another one of my favorites. It was quite fun. I got very excited during our time together! These games can make me so energetic! He also loved listening to Ravenloft too!

No. A heart attack has an impact on many people and evokes emotion. But it's not art.

But that doesn't make any of that art.

I'm glad he enjoyed it.

Well, he didn't play it for long. He stopped playing after I left. We do these playthroughs together. He got past the character creation. Then died at the arena. I'm hoping I can play some Ravenloft with him later. Here's hoping. These games are more fun when you're sharing the experience with family. I love my stupid brother, he's annoying, but he's dear to me.

I understand people responded to it favorably and was part of the movement of technical inovation. It still wasn't art.

Can you do me a favor and define art? Tell me what art is, instead of what it isn't.

I started during Fallen Empires so that was like the PoE of expansions. I do remember being pretty excited to drive 45 minutes for Revised cards since this was pre-Spoilers and nobody had anything near the whole set. It had a definite
je ne sais quoi about it that would qualify as art if not quite great.

The first couple issues of the Duelist definitely did too in Rosewater’s early innocence. And then there’s Zak Dolan.

Of course not. Typical conservatard.

The high in high art refers to among much else its ineffability.

Calling names then proceeding to do exactly what you're accusing your alleged opponents of doing and then plunging your nose deeper into your ass to make sure you inhale every loose piece of shit as you sniff right before saying nothing of substance. Typical libtard.

someone recommend party comp for lawful evil sorc since i am too lazy to think

You as MC and face of the party.
Valerie as frontline.
Regongar as another frontline and damager.
Harrim with reach weapon.
Jubilost for fucking enemies up and buffs.
Nok Nok if you want another melee or Octavia.
similar to what i figured. worth it to level jaethal as a cleric instead of using harrim?

someone recommend party comp for lawful evil sorc since i am too lazy to think

Staying in character like a champ.
yeah i should clarify that i meant "story companions who gel and what builds they would use to support backline sorc MC"
