A low level adventure in a generic forest? About slaying a generic evil dragon? Wow, this is getting too intense...

Exactly my thoughts

A random NwN module you pull from the vault has more creativity than this

Description of Dragon's Demand tabletop adventure from 2013: https://pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/The_Dragon's_Demand

The Dragon's Demand, a dungeon and wilderness adventure for 1st-level characters written by Mike Shel, was released in July 2013. This adventure marks a relaunch of the Pathfinder Modules line, offering an increased page count and a two-sided color poster map, and shifting to a quarterly release schedule.

Dragonslayers Wanted!

Founded by a famous dragonslayer, the small town of Belhaim has become a sleepy rural community just off the beaten path, a settlement where everyone knows everyone and strangers are the talk of the town. But when Belhaim's peace and quiet is shattered by the sudden collapse of the last standing tower of its founder's castle, things quickly bloom out of control. Why were there bodies of kobolds amid the rubble? What's the sinister secret behind the strange sounds of flapping wings in the night? And what's happened to local wizard Balthus Hunclay, who's not answering knocks on his door? The collapsed tower had long been an eyesore to the cantankerous old man—could he have had something to do with its destruction? And what of the rumors of strange stirrings in nearby Dragonfen? Has Belhaim's ancient draconic nemesis returned?

The Dragon's Demand is a deluxe super-adventure for 1st-level characters, and includes 64 action-packed pages of adventure and new monsters, plus a beautiful double-sided, full-color poster map of the town of Belhaim and an important miniatures-scale battleground! Players can expect to reach 7th level by the time they complete this epic adventure—if they manage to survive the wrath of a dragon when his demands aren't met!
Actually sounds a bit similar to Luke Scull's Siege of Shadowdale NWN module (missing local wizard!)

You should write in so they know to make it epic like BG3 and add in some tranny romances to appeal to modern audiences.

You jest - but BG3, except with Pathfinder and a miniature art style, is the goal. I know some of you won't like the chosen art style, but I suggest you give it a chance. We all know that replicating something with BG3's scope using the same level of graphical fidelity is pretty much impossible for any studio, never mind an indie, which is why we're trying something new. That doesn't mean we can't seek to match BG3 in the things that truly make a great roleplaying game.

As for modern audiences, I'm a straight white dude in my 40s. Alan was the producer of the original Baldur's Gate: Throne of Bhaal, as well as Neverwinter Nights. We've been doing this for decades. My fantasy trilogy is officially the 20th most grimdark of all time.

All this culture war stuff bores the hell out of me, so to put a marker down very early on, as the game's writer, I'll simply say this: my goal is to to tell the best story possible while respecting the setting, both in tone and lore. I did the same when I worked on the unreleased expansion for The Witcher, my Neverwinter Nights stuff (as I hope some of you can confirm), and the stories I wrote for Warhammer: Age of Sigmar. Pathfinder is diverse by design - I think it's a strength of the setting, but it doesn't really matter what I think, because my job is to bring the truest representation of Pathfinder to a videogame. That's what you do when you're entrusted with an IP.
don't make it 'epic' and I will buy it

Maybe we have been spoiled by Owlcat, but it feels simple. I mean if its aimed at young kids, sure more power to them, but I dont see this gathering interest in mature audience. Honestly im getting a lot of mobile vibes from it so far.
I think the bigger hurdle (maybe even the biggest) is gonna be the fact that the game uses Pathfinder 2E
that is a bonus to me, tired of bloated 3E

Pathfinder: Wrath
PF2E is basically Paizo spin on 5E D&D with similar underlying concept, less numerical bloat, less number crunching etc

It's a bit better than that. The presentation is misleading and poorly handled, but the module is better than you'd expect.
Also look at this :

It doesn’t exactly give the same vibes as the video either.

Besides, all of this is still very small in scope, levels 1-7, so there’s no point getting riled up about it.

I wish the game's art was like that. Sadly it looks like something marketed to 5 year olds for Christmas Eve.
Everything in the module PDF is absolutely gorgeous and sometimes has quite a grimdark tone. Nothing in the art causes me a hypodermic allergic reaction like the trailer – a very good module indeed.

Well the KS is not out yet and they probably post these pre-KS thread in lot of communities.

Hopefully they realize that the artstyle they choose (not about miniature or not) is a turn off for perople. You can use miniature with non cartoon style

Woah. That art style looks better than the fortnite graphics in the trailer for the video game adaption. This looks so good, not at all what I expected the actual module to look. What the heck. Now I feel scammed, LMAO!

Artist thinks kobolds are lizardmen.

Sorry to bother you with an old-school art style reminiscent of the AD&D kobolds and how they were portrayed for decades. Here's something more in line with your modern sensibilities:

This ain't my cup of tea, but I'll be following development. Best of luck.

He thinks Kobolds are draconic which is correct, I hate the modern "Kobolds = Dog people" interpretation.
