Can someone translate it for me? So they can't reproduce, but can have offsprings? Or their offsprings are humans, and so they can't reproduce as Dhampirs, but in general they can, it's just their children are not Dhampirs?

I'm so confused.

Looks like when they have children, they're always humans and usually human sorcerers with the undead bloodline. So in terms of continuing the dhampir species, they apparently cannot reproduce. It's the seeming inability that's throwing you off.

There are some silly bugs that weren't even in Alpha but is in Beta. Honestly, this can be an Alpha 3 instead of an actual Beta

Yeah, I noticed that today in the prologue. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense from a muh immersion standpoint (by telling me I failed, you're telling me there's something there, which my failed skill should have prevented me from knowing), but it's a nice ease-of-play improvement. Also noticed that the same char can try trickery again on something you failed without a level-up. Not sure if that's a bug or another intentional change.

Based on the leaks I've seen on 4chan, golden dragon might be the gayest path yet. But, frankly, almost all of them are gay.

Did you see Azata -> Dragon too?

Having a kid or two tagging along with you everywhere is kind of the opposite of gay though.

This is my life. I've got Merry and Pippin nipping at my heels 24/7.

Portrait selection screen also much improved if you have custom portraits.

I can report that difficulty has definitely not been turned down in the maze on Core. If anything they’ve turned it up.

They also fixed the redundant Rapid Shot (he has Combat Reflexes instead which hints where he's headed) from Lann and removed the Rapid Shot prereq from Snap Shot so his build can smoothly slide into that direction when it comes open at lvl six.

The alpha was in many ways just another P:K DLC. In the Beta they’re revamping whole systems so you’re going to get some rough spots there. Important thing is how fast and effectively they can iron things out.

That's a good point that hadn't occurred to me. It just struck me that an 8 feat tax is brutal, even if the top end abilities are good.

Unless I'm missing something obvious, you can only multiclass into a Hellknight rather than start as one, yes?

If so, what base class would be optimal to start as for that purpose?

Hellknights is a PrC afaik. Either way fluff-wise you're supposed to go Armiger ---> Hellknight, but then again you're probably better off with something else since Armiger seems to be a weak archetype.


EDIT: I think the Steelblood archetype from the Bloodrager could be a good fit. Bloodrager itself is a strong class.

Told them they need Counterspell but they haven’t listened. The Kinetic Blasts end up not totally sucking I think against some tougher foes but not super interesting. Similar dynamic to Arcane Bomber.

The Defensive ones will come into play when using the Animal Shape Spells on Brown Fur Transmuter (which buffs the stat boosts those spells provide) but mostly just duplicate effects you get from buffs/equipment.

Hellknight doesn’t advance Spellcasting so Bloodrager isn’t great. Armiger is fine, as is regular Fighter. TSS probably isn’t awful either.

Desiderius, would a Tower Shield Specialist -> Hellknight tanky sort of character be alright?

Also, given that "at 3rd level, a tower shield specialist gains armor training as normal, but while he employs a tower shield, the armor penalty is reduced by 3 and the maximum Dexterity bonus allowed by his armor increases by 2," should I go beyond 14 Dex for a greater armor bonus (so basically prioritize constitution, then dex and then willpower)?
