itsa joke from first game.

it's from a time when writing could actually be funny without becoming fanfiction tier (Jubilost).

I mean, 7 classes, most with just two subclasses VS 25. If you wanna be a necromancer wizard, you can chose cruoromancer, Thassilonian specialist, base wizard, If I wanna to play BG3 as ... Ohh wait, I just can't and even if Larian implements it probably in 2 years, it will be awful. since is 5E.

As for mods, I can't wait to see modded mythic paths.

There is no contest, WotR has a lot more build variety. However this lacks a bit of nuance as many classes really are just two other classes smashed together. Slayer for example is basically just taking Ranger and Rogue put together. Many of the archetypes also just reshuffles or swaps some passives. There are some archetypes however that fundamentally changes the way the class is played as well however. It's a mixed bag, but it's disingenuous to say all the classes/archetypes offer something truly unique and differentiates them substantially from the others.

Is ironic how even in BG3 thread, people are talking more about Wrath. Probably because BG3 lacks content to talk about. I mean, 7 classes, most with just two subclasses VS 25. Well BG3 is couple years away from release, but whatever helps you cope :salute:

Right now I have a feeling there will be a pathfinder legacy edition or something, where owlcat put every classes and races(and graphic improvement and other shit) into every pathfinder game they make and release them again, let you choose which game you want to play after you create your character.

Insert Title Here Pathfinder: Wrath
Some things that aren’t easy to intimidate tho.
in kangmaker i could intimidate bosses and wasnt even inquisitor. I gave quick look at classes and it seems that one of skald subclasses can add full lvl as bonus to intimidate(1/2 str and 1/2 intimidate). If one go legend it can be even higher.

There are effects that auto-intimidate anything that isn’t immune so hard to get too excited about doing it the hard way. Current main is doing the Dazzling Display since I had it for Shatter anyway and it’s pretty reliable.

I disagree. Pick the example of the necromancer wizards which I mentioned.

  • cruoromancer - Can sacrifice his own blood to strength the DC of his necromancer spells, giving higher stats to animated undead, increasing the DC of his spells and so on
  • Thassilonian specialist - Get two extra spell slots instead of one but has two defined prohibited schools and more restrictions on spell memorization of this schools.
  • Base Wizard - No need to detail
  • Exploiter - Access to Arcanist exploits.
All are completely different.

is couple years away from release

When Wrath was in alpha with only one, despite the NDA, we had way more content to discuss :P

Is anyone noticing differences with the better AI setting?

Enemies don’t seem to be doing smart or interesting things at least not yet unless I’m missing it completely?

Could you please advise on build(s) for light weapons dual-wielding that somehow implement non-armor defense as well? Sadly, there's no Swashbuckler - at least until Holic92 would get insanely creative again I guess.

Is there a mod that allows to edit the portraits and appearance of the companions yet?

https://github.com/BarleyFlour/WrathVisualAdjustmentsMod

You also need Unity Mod Manager.

does this work for gog version also? Im a retard it does not install this mod

It does, put UMM into other directory than Wrath of the Righteous, launch it, choose Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous from the list, click "Folder" and choose where the game is installed, then click Install. Click mods, then click Install mods and choose the VisualAdjustments.zip, and it should work next time you launch the game.

Awesome thank you. Will it save progress on savegame or do you need unity mod manager constantly running for the mod to work?

I think you need it on for it to work, don't think it'll change the save.
