Starting over, I want to go Lich (preferable a martial/caster hybrid.).

Any recommendations for a Lich Martial hybrid class?

I will commit the sacrilegious sin and say if you want to play a hybrid lich, go Sorc 9, Monk 1, Eldritch Knight 10.

Probably better then magus, because magus book can't be merged, and well duh, charisma is good for lich. I wonder how it behaves with attack of opportunity. As magus I don't think my mc encountered any... Plus spell strike is kinda nice.

Fuck that encounter at the Shrine of the Three. It forces you to go into TB mode for the fight (which I'm guessing that it's not a bug since you have to click on quite a few interactables in order to stop enemies from infinitely spawning).

Definitely not a bug. I think this was the Codex quest so it fits perfectly.

That's Codex content for you :D Just pick some hasted character for clicking business. I used fully buffed Aru and she didn't have any problems. Also mass teleport wand is useful in that fight, if you still have it.

Why would you go Sorc 9?

Because I forgot that lich's merged spellbook would get you level 9 spells without going sorc 9. You could probably take more monk levels if you really wished to, or hellknight signifier levels.

Speaking of which, my wife is laughing at the game NPCs calling her "commandress". I said, well, she is a commander in a dress. She says "they" are unaware of how ridiculous they are.

I know it used to be that the lack of a feminine form was a sign of oppression by the patrirarchy. But I think nowadays we should have advanced enough in the degeneracy so the feminine form should be a sign of sexism and segregation of women, right? I can't decide.

I think all military grades are named the same because everyone that gives their lives to protect their country is equally amazing and venerable. Gender included.

EDIT: This also helped with coded information, as gender could not be guessed.

Is respeccing bugged? I respecced my main who was wielding Finnean, and afterward the weapon disappeared from my inventory but his conversation button was still there. Talking to him makes the game freeze. Anyone have any issues like this?

Respeccing can cause ton of issues and last patch it was even possible to corrupt saves, maybe its fixed , maybe not.

Does Elemental Barrage work with attacks? The general description mentions spells, but the specifics only mention energy damage, not the source.

I'm assuming it is a spell exclusive ability, given how strong it would otherwise be with someone like Cam, but wanted to be sure.
