My team has the sexiest and deadliest waifus you can recruit.
can you list any memorable scenes, sequences or chapters from the PoE OC? can anyone?
Seeing the tree with the hanged people, talking with the gods, fight with the Adra dragon, the resolution of Durance and Grieving Mother's story, or heck, even Eder's story was cool. The trial was also pretty nice.

On the other hand I really can't remember any scene from NWN with the exception of Aribeth's fall. I don't even remember who the villain was.

FWIW, he was comparing NWN 2 OC to POE, not NWN OC. Not that NWN 2 was all that much more memorable. I remember something about an elf stalker, some sort of stronghold siege, and a surprise death somewhere in the middle.

NWN OC had way more interetsing things going on.

The dwarf vs dryad crystal ball as one example.

The trial in ch2.

And, most importantly, it had...

FUKKIN' TIME TRAVELLING LIZARD GODDESSES!!!

I started a playthrough of PoE since I never did get around to finishing it back on release. I actually mostly enjoy the game, but one thing that does piss me off is that this still has very obvious visibility issues in combat. I'm sure this must have been talked about already, and you've probably all seen it, but I gotta share this.

I mean seriously, what the fuck. How are you supposed to see anything? This shit happens a lot more often than it should, and I thought that after all this time this would've got sorted out or this issue at least minimized as much as possible. If there's one thing that should seriously be fixed for PoE2 is this, because in IE I don't recall it being this hard to see what the fuck is happening when scenery happens to obscure the view. This situation in the screenshot being not many characters is still manageable, but it's still an issue to still be resolved imo.

Options > Graphics > Occlusion Opacity > move the slider to the right. Interactive objects (like doors) seem to ignore this option, but in most places you'll be able to see who's where.

Whoa, thanks for the hint. Dunno why it isn't like this by default.

Surprisingly, I remember the final conversations with the elf-chick and Thaos. I enjoyed how your reaction/dialogue could change based on earlier flashbacks. Moreover, the twin dryads added a cool bit of context that the MC and Thaos have crossed paths several times in past lives. Granted, there is no context beyond that, but it is fun to think that you have been reincarnating just to fuck with this one person.

Update 4: 9/26] Tim Table Update and Balance Change;

- We are about half way through are current test plan for the 3.04 patch, we should be finished by Friday. We will be releasing the Beta on Tuesday of next week.

- Sabre base damage will drop to 11-16, and it will have a +20% damage mod. They should still take the 'top damage' slot but this change should lower them enough to encourage other options. Let us know what you think during the Beta.

Note: We are looking for lots of feedback during this Beta. There will be amazing, incredible, unbelievable super secret prizes for people who participate. More details on this will be announced soon.

We rock, you rock, we all rock

I wonder if they're trying to wake up the fans before announcing something big with that patch?

Possibly; however, more likely an (hopefully earnest) effort to make up for the lackluster beta-to-release process for Patch 3.03. Either that or Obsidian had to cut funds from its QA department to pay for Lenny B's signing bonus and there are (trigger warning: fat shaming) a few XXXL Tyranny t-shirts lying around that didn't end up fitting Brian Heins to hand out to community testers as "amazing, incredible, unbelievable super secret prizes". I kid, I kid...maybe.

Balance changes, even now. :hmmm:
