This used to happen with terminator resistance as well, your saved games should be backed up at the user/appdata folder. Copy them to a different folder and then delete everything. Start a new game until you reach the first autosave point (you might have to disable steam cloud saves too) then once it autosaves quit the game. Go to your backed up saves, find your latest autosave, rename it "autosave1" and paste it in the saves folder replacing the other one. It will restore your playthrough.

Seems like sales are good at least:

RoboCop: Rogue City Has “Record Presales” According To Nacon

The French developer revealed in its Q2 earnings report that the upcoming FPS title is selling pretty well.

Story Highlights
  • RoboCop: Rogue City is setting records in pre-sales according to Nacon’s financial report.
  • In addition, the initial sales of Cricket 24 have been really good, with Gangs of Sherwood also previewing well per the publisher.
  • Rogue City launches on November 2 while Gangs of Sherwood will hit the store on November 30.
In its recent H1/Q2 earnings report, Nacon uncovered that its upcoming first-person shooter RoboCop: Rogue City is already achieving sales milestones. According to the French developer, the new entry in the RoboCop franchise has accomplished “record pre-sales” ahead of its November release. This is amidst the quarterly revenue and first-half numbers being down for Nacon in FY23/24,
Nacon report RoboCop: Rogue City
Nacon earnings report FY23/24
Developed by Teyon in partnership with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, RoboCop: Rogue City is the first game in 20 years based on the popular movie series that is coming to consoles. Announced back in July 2021, the FPS will feature an original story based on the first three movies and will stay faithful to the lore. In addition, the original RoboCop actor Peter Weller has reprised his role as the protagonist as well.
Originally, Nacon was also going to release a port of RoboCop: Rogue City on the Nintendo Switch. However, after the game’s first demo came out in October, the developer canceled this version of the first-person shooting game. No apparent reason was provided for the decision, with Nacon just saying there are currently no plans for a Switch port of the title.
As a result, RoboCop: Rogue City is only going to launch on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC when it hits the stores on November 2, 2023, and will skip the Switch. In addition to RoboCop, Nacon also gave us updates about some other games, including Cricket 24: Official Game of the Ashes.
As the financial report notes elsewhere, Nacon has shared some info about Gangs of Sherwood, saying the upcoming action game has received “good previews.” Due to this packed release slate and some current titles selling well, Nacon is expecting strong growth in the second half of FY23/24. Surprisingly, the document had no mention of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, though.
You would expect a game that caused a development studio to shut down, led to a game cancellation, resulted in lay-offs, and got a 34 Metacritic score to at least get a mention, but that wasn’t the case. It seems like Nacon only focused on the positives and one of them is definitely RoboCop: Rogue City, which launches on November 2, 2023, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

I don't think it is bad but it isn't some great shooter experience either. If you like Robocop you'll like this but on its own it wouldn't be anything remarkable.

it's picking up trash, slow walking, doing chores etc
action parts are really good but that's like 40% of the game at most
could've been niice 5 to 6 hours game but they padded it with filler content
game would've been much better if it was just mission based without "open world" parts

Grenade Launcher is usually a type of weapon I don't care for in games, but here it really rocks. Try using it when breaking through doors/walls, and fire it during bullet-time to see enemies get fucked up in slomo. :smug:

I like the punk song and all but uh... do the devs understand how a live performance works or is Soot actually just lip-syncing?

Dude, shortly after that scene it's revealed that he was indeed lip-syncing. He even gives you a taste of how his singing voice actually sounds.

If you like the first movie you'll like this game.
Open world stuff is small cases and issuing parking tickets, answering to noise complaints, graffiti, and littering. There are some minor C&C around how you handle those stuff and major main quest moments. You can be "I'm the law!" or "People's cyberg" kinda.
You get better experience from missions if you do well in them, saving hostages, resolving conflicts, finding major evidence and such.

does this extend to resolving things like a tight ass vs being the people's robot?

Eurogamer reviewer angry that Robocop isn't virtual signalling and screaming ACAB during the game. Reviewers seems angry as well that there's no SJW shit in the game

Eurogamer Review
The game's adherence to the structure and ideas of the original films also has some unfortunate ramifications. For example, the portrayal of Detroit PD as honest, hardworking blue-collar workers struggling against budget constraints sits a lot less comfortably in 2023, when we know US police budgets are vastly overinflated compared to other public sectors, and that issues like corruption and racism are endemic within policing in a way that has little to do with corporate ownership.

To be clear, I'm not saying RoboCop should be wandering around Detroit shouting ACAB. Rather, in its strive to mimic the anti-corporate satire of the film, Rogue City misses an opportunity to ask other, more pertinent questions, like how does a cop programmed to follow the letter of the law fit within a policing system that itself often doesn't?
