I remember Fahrenheit. I liked the demo, so I got the game for my PS2 and tried to finish it ASAP, as these were the times you could still rent games. At first, I noticed something was off, but I didn't think it thoroughly until I finished the game. Then I started thinking back on what I played, what I saw, and yeah, it was pure inanity.
Cage hasn't gotten any better, although his stories are sometimes unintentionally hilarious, especially when you hit a bug or fail so hard you break the script:

Like a Leslie Nielsen movie

So I played a little bit of Mage Knight Apocalypse based on Ross's video since I wanted to give the Paladin-like class a try. In my opinion, it's not as bad as he made it out to be but there is indeed quite a bit of downtime between encounters. Which honestly doesn't really surprise me if this game was inspired by World of Warcraft since Vanilla used to be like that too. And I do think they were inspired by WoW since ,besides what Ross pointed out, there are quite a few icons that look very similar. Could just be a coincidence of course.

Maybe the downtime gets better once you upgrade your skills and attributes. I'll see later I guess.

Also if you go to the jewish merchant in the dwarf city you can buy and equip The Ring.

Ross is bad at games and more interested in story, atmosphere, and exploring virtual worlds.

The whole art style, with the cauldron for example appearing in the HUD really reminds me of Lands of Lore 1. Interestingly enough, both games were released in the same year.

I wish he'd do another MMO one, something like dungeons and dragons online I'd be interested what he thinks of that.

Glad my urge for survival horror never reached the stage of trying out that game.
