It's not.Just like how Fallout is an open world game,
Arcanum is an open world game, Fallout is not.

Because I'm not, that's just how the games are described. At the back of Skyrim's box, you're going to see "open world fantasy" describing the game. Not ARPG.
A game can be both.
Just like how Fallout is an open world game, with turn-based combat.
Here you are.You seem to have an problem with reading comprehension. People do not use this term to describe their own games, you don't see this term used to describe products. It's not a thing.

Yes, what exactly is your point? Diablo and clones are exclusively called ARPGs, while Skyrim needs more terms to define it.
You forget the ego stroking part.So... basically... just the same wankery that everyone always votes for, we all knew everyone would already vote for and we all already knew would be picked thus rendering the poll itself mostly a waste of time except for its emotional value as "remember the good old days" memberberries for the warm fuzzies as opposed to anything actually useful?
Next up: A poll asking users to vote on what the first 10 positive integers ascending from 0 are.
The Bard's Tale Trilogy is a chance for old fans to be young once again and for a new generation of roleplaying and dungeon crawler fans to discover why these games matter so much all these years later. Pick up the game and start your epic adventure today!
No "blobber" there either. Not even Clefford describes is game as a "blobber". Should he have gone for "gridder" instead? If not, why not. Be specific.About the game:
THE ULTIMATE CLASSIC STYLE TURN-BASED FANTASY ROLEPLAYING GAME!
After more than 20 years of development, the greatest roleplaying game of them all is finally ready for release! Grimoire is an homage to the classic dungeon blobbers and is inspired by Wizardry, Might & Magic, Lands of Lore, Anvil of Dawn, DungeonMaster and the Eye of the Beholder games!

what could all of this possibly mean...
It's one of the best dungeon crawlers that I played recently, and I played a lot of them, dear retard. And by the way, yes, it's a blobber. That's not a game, that's some freeware garbage.
Doesn't stop Skyrim from being an Action RPG.
Are you blind?
It's one of the best dungeon crawlers that I played recently, and I played a lot of them, dear retard. And by the way, yes, it's a blobber.
Some of them? Sure. Wizardry was a formative game for early JRPGs.And JRPGs are blobbers.
Again, what's your point? Who are you arguing with and about what?
Gothic II (along with its expansion) is both the greatest open-world RPG, and the greatest action RPG ever made bar none.
The first game in the Gothic series is smaller, clunkier, and more difficult to get into than its classic sequel, but once you do break the initial barrier of a somewhat bizarre control scheme and dying every five minutes (some might consider this a plus) you'll discover a uniquely atmospheric and surprisingly well-designed open-world action RPG..
Dragon's Dogma is probably one of the best - if not the best - implementations of the Action RPG concept in the industry.
you should play The Witcher if you are looking for an atmospheric action RPG
You can expect all the Piranha Bytes trademarks in Elex (...) third-person attack-parry-dodge action RPG combat
Automata is solid a third-person action RPG
You were the one who claimed Gothic and Skyrim aren't referred to as Action RPGs, when last time I checked everyone does.
No, I never claimed that. It's your massive inability to read that's the problem.
But Skyrim and Gothic are Open World ARPGs, not the same thing.
An Open World ARPG IS STILL AN ACTION RPG.
