Shoot at sight?

Of course. That's not the half of it, though:

Seems like a Christian sect of some sort actually. Needs cleansing ASAP.

I can see them going strictly private server in short order. As long as they don't proselytize in the game, I don't have a problem with them. But, since this IS the internet, they're not going to be able to just play the game without some assbag flipping them shit.

I think a good social experiment would be to start an unapologetically muslim squadron (and play it up fo' realz, not just for lulz), just to see how that flies.

For instance take the “Star Trek Online” game, at one point in time it was being developed by Perpetual and was supposed to have looked like this:
And, as we know know, all of those "images" turned out to be entirely fake, the game never actually existed, and the entire business was nothing more than a fraud perpetuated to scam publishers and investors.

They are, its conceptual art as this been brought up on the STO forums and such assents do not exist, in fact ...

In order to quell rumors that the company was going under, a series of screenshot releases and interviews were held that were later reported to be completely bogus, or concept-level creations ONLY.

So should we establish early one what sort of criteria determines KOS status? So far we've got Bronies. I imagine any sort of furfaggotry would count as well. What else?

From my point of view the more practical question would be - who shouldn't we KOS. Who would be our allies?

All this spaceship porn, manning individuals stations, boarding and capturing ships.

:incline:

Also lol at Grunker thinking WoT's p2w is the worst f2p model, look at any EA or asian pay2win title. Those make the consumables+gold ammo nonsense and premium tanks of WoT look like an even playing field for non-paying and paying players.

Anyone referencing Mass Effect, either in character or ship names? I imagine "Normandy" and variations will be to SC as "Legolas" and it's variations is to every fantasy MMO out there.

Blaine: Did you ever find out why my pledge tiers were so different from yours? VAT?

I've never found out, no. I do know that the prices I see (in USD, obviously) have been the same since November, so VAT may well have something to do with it.

Already covered under "console gaming enthusiasts."

Anyone tried to sign up lately to RSI site? I wanted to pledge the fuck away 75 $ for the explorer + game, but it does not work (filling all personal data etc., afterwards it asks you to login and it fails doing so). Is there some comfirmation e-mail I am suppose to get beforehand?
:rage:

Unfortunately there's no way for me to know personally, as I migrated my legacy account, but I just pasted your question into the chatroll and they said to keep trying to log in. New site's going through some teething issues, it seems.

Do also check your email if it asked you for an email address, which I'm assuming it did.

Riiiight! Seems like it worked for IE but not for Mozilla. No idea why. There are still some issues though, e.g., after successfully registering and pledging in IE, I could not actually sign-in to see if everything is ok at RSI. So, I tried to sign in in Mozilla and it worked!

Anyway, I am a part of the group now with my explorer, so Blaine, you can formally count me in as an official member of Codexia guild of bastards :). Send me wherever you want my friend. Just let me have those heavy wingmen with me when space is boiling :yeah:

Firefox and Chrome have both been fucking up for me lately. Chrome has issues playing well with Amazon Instant Video. The browser also occasionally "pauses" (loading circle for 5-15 seconds) as though my Internet's had a brownout, though a different browser on the same computer loads pages instantly, indicating that Chrome is at fault and not my connection.

Firefox has no issues with Amazon Instant Video and no "pausing" hiccups, but has severe problems with Gmail and other google services. It also seems to be slower than Chrome overall.

I certainly won't use IE, so I may resort to Opera or some such nonsense.

Heh, not my idea as well. That's granted. It is just that I have IE installed by default, so I tried that option. Surprisingly it worked out.

Yeah, I had no issue with Firefox till now (except some incompatibilities with some of Adobe Flash Player versions). Hope they will improve, or I have to look for other options.

$13m raised! That means:

Additional flyable ship class – frigate
Command and Control Center – Supervise the battle from the deck of your Constellation, Idris or destroyer (class TBA) with advanced C&C packages that allow you to tie all of your ships together and assume central command from the 3rd seat.
