You mean ubermensch 4:3 monitors

I assume you know there was a workaround for the stretching?
At least until they fix it. If they ever will care enough about people with 4:3 monitors. It just happened that I got back home where I still have one of those when they released the game.
It's interesting that it's not fixed automatically by the GPU, like everything else is.

Such a great game... I have always liked that scene where you dance with the drunk German :)

Say what you will about irrational games, they still know how to make aesthetically pleasing levels

My favorite adventure game ever. Is it your first time playing it? What are you thinking so far?

Yep, first time. Found it for 0,89€ for tablet, just when I was preparing to shell out 5 bucks for it TBH.

I am retarded when it comes to adventure games, and I used those hints in the bottom left corner. I would say that figuring out the "best" outcome is no easy feat, and it's easy to get lost or get stuck, or forget about something. Although it is "genuine" difficulty, and not some obscure MacGyver logic. I imagine the game must be an even greater pleasure when the players deduces everything single-handedly, and finally gets it "right" at learning from mistakes. It's actually kind of "immersive" how actions and objective are up to the player's/Cath's motivations, and the player is never forced into anything.

Incredible atmosphere and attention to details. Gaming needs more infatuation with high culture (upper classes, Franck's music, Nietzsche) like that. Also I wanted to cry in Chapter 6, with what happened with
everything becoming a confused tragedy, particularly Tatiana. That humming, my dear.

EDIT: BTW, any adventure games recommendations? I wanted to try out Myst but like I said, I'm not particularly good at adventure's puzzles.

Brannon Braga fine tunes his technobabble

These guys throw a smoke grenade into Brannon's apartment and occasionally take potshots inside, so naturally we have to escape. Why the fuck can't I just shoot them and get back to business.

And now for something completely different:

Just FYI, Ubisoft had to dumb down Rayman Legends for Xbox360 and PS3 because they couldn't cope with the amount of characters on the screen.

And this is how the overworld map looks.

All in all, I feel like UbiArt manages to justify Ubisoft's existence at least somewhat.
