Only faggots like you don't use MGSO nowadays. And no, the fog distance was not low because they wanted to make it more atmospheric. It has low fog distance because Bethesda has fucking terrible programmers.

Yah, used to be only the then-new AMD 64 cpu could run that thing with the view distance maxed(though still very short). Was crazily CPU-bound.

I remember T2X had bad custom graphics, but damn. That's not an improvement over the basic AI at all.

Indeed. But some do look better. Unique AI most of the time.

Last two missions in T2X, one pretty good, other, well, almost garbage. Does look pretty though!

Linear corridors. Invisible walls. Meh, easily the worst mission in T2X. But as said, it looks great.

Freeplay mode in Stalker Call of Pripyat with SGM 2.1 + Misery. As usual two things happened. First - game stolen all my gear and moniez. Money is not issue with daily income on account (around 35k rubles daily). Second - ZOMBIE INVADERS MUST DIE
And no, zombies in Stalker are not ordinary species. Yeah, they're mindless but they're armed! When there is bunch of them around, everyone have assault rifles and fire at once.... game over man.
That's not all. This location (Pripyat) become warzone of factions named Monolith (they're like Chaos from Warhammer) and german Mercenaries. Jokes are done, now run for your life.
Still - when you finish basic game and went to Freeplay mode - you get basic gear and you'll be swarmed by zombies in the middle of the night.
Sneaking around is neat. And whoever turn the flashlight on - lose the game.

Kinda suprising that zombies have upgrated weapons, which double the prize for weapons when sell.

That's the other story - Emission (storm but much, much stronger which kill and turn into zombies) catchet me with pants down somewhere in dead city. Nearest shelter was filled with fanatics and zombies. Luckly got silenced pistol.

Standard feature of Sigerous Mod - when you get bored with cannon fodders you can enable Alpha Squad. Small group of elite of elite that hunt you down. Fella on the screen is their boss. Nasty.

So that's the new location (which is map from older Stalker). So I will not play on those new maps again :( Similiar issue with other SGM - after wasting 100h you finally went to new maps and game crashed...

New quests founds - item hunting. Grab some item under 40 game minutes. Pretty fitting for zombies apocalypse, must say...

The difference is so striking it is not even funny. Original unmodded Morrowind blows High Defi Mud Hut Village Simulator 3000 out of the water.
