If really dig the color palette you're using with Doom.

You really need some AA or something. Even Irithyll looks mediocre in your screenshots.
Yeah man, this pc is really shit. I need a new one

Well in general DS1 had cleaner, sharper graphics than 2. From what I've seen, 3 continues the downfall.
Not even close. DS1 is a blurry mess compared to the later games

Yesterday it took me 5 hours to create the party.
I guess that going through those fonts is a well deserved act of love.

cI8y80I.png

The group of kids (30 yo) with good intents.

EwFw3HI.png

That sounded good, i raised non combat skills so i need to practice earning money, increasing rep. Sounds like the perfect plan.

cb6ltWd.png

Lots of places to visit!

FmZp7OD.png

Oh nice...

Nb2r5kc.png

If those guards are armed like that screen, i'd better avoid to mess with them for a long time... Btw those looks like pollaxes (a bit big) and not halberds...

CSeIdFd.png

First merchant i visited had a 25q 2 handed sword. I drooled on that a bit but i guess it's better to spend on armors first, when i'll have money.

WMlxaXn.png

Guess sooner or later i can afford some ingredients.

w3H7fdE.png

Prayers that act like magic look so cool.

BBZtvpa.png

Oh, it's night. All good.
Later i'll realized that i should avoid to play that game on retarded mode.

Someone on the Curch was a spy. I wanted to be on the lawful side and i faced justice.

I tried to seduce the keeper since the high charisma pc with speak common is female...
WAocWVA.png

Of course it didn't work.
Called a priest, asked if he could put a good word with the boss. Of course he said.

For some reason that didn't give me peace and i decided to check windows....
EfQqPSV.png

Guess light or no armor is good in that situation.

BENos8e.png

I thought that fighting the guards would have been an awful idea. I don't want to be an outlaw (not too much at least). Nor to finish blended by their weapons.

rss7I4c.png

It worked!

Then i thougt that maybe the edict to jail all night roamers was not a fake.
Ok, i reload to play keeping in mind that.
I defeat some guys and that's good. I think to check a place to rest since i don't want to pay an inn. Just to realize later that i can't regain strenght in that way.
Btw there are some thieves.

OSYmVtm.png

Of course i try to talk, maybe i'll rise streetwise.

ZQ1KsjK.png

And of course it didn't work.

eDaHGaq.png

Combat has nice ideas but, damn, i really need to get accustomed to that.

TnC83U3.png

I win! And people is happy! Cool!

6cj0OOA.png

Now i have more loot to wear and sell and some more experience!

I combat again and i think that it's better to be more cautious. Hans (full name, only one given by me: Johannes Liechtenauer, a bit anachronistic but with this name i must make him a badass) fell unconscious.

Zi8yB9Z.png

Summary of first day: 14 rep, got over 1 florin (not displayed here, after selling stuff i had it), leveled some skills, my toughest guy beaten down. And enough bruises to have to rest for 2 in game weeks.

319UNE8.png

DRM freeeeeeeee (got from GoG...). So annoying, just a missclick while checking manual and game closes....
I printed image attached to the fourth post of that thread and gg all: https://af.gog.com/forum/darklands/spammed_by_games_copy_protection/page1?as=1649904300

It looks like and incredibly epic game, even with taxing fonts and inteface.

Ahh, another fine morning in Rimworld.

Direct your attention to that yellow object in the center of the screenshot. See it? That's an incoming incendiary mortar shell.

I shouldn't have to explicitly describe what it does.

Eight hours of the barrage and I'm starting to get comfortable with the fire fighting. This hit ends up causing some minor burns for all three of the colonists, but they heal up immediately after being bandaged. Between the terrain nullifying half the shells, harmlessly exploding in either the marsh or on the mountain tops, and my three colonists actively fighting the other blazes, things are largely under control.

However, note the temperature in the bottom right, which displays the temperature for the room your cursor is currently over. And while you can't see it in a screenshot, the cursor was over the burning bedroom. To help combat this, I tear down some walls to help stabilize the temperature if the core structure gets hit again.

After another full day of shelling, this is where things finally end up.

The primary room that's on fire is my raw food freezer; I'm just ignoring the burning solar panel for the time being. This is where the first character collapses from the heat, and the backup I send immediately after her to move her to a bed to recover ends up succumbing to the same fate before being able to complete the rescue. You can see the two of them to the right and just below Jon, with the fire already burning one of the corpses.

If you thought the 112C temps were bad in the previous screenshot. The temps in the freezer hit 600+.

Jon, sadly, wasn't even able to make it out of his own freezer.

Lessons learned: Don't fight fires inside areas that are burning heavily. Do damage control from outside where heatstroke isn't an issue and contain the edge fires as they spread to walls adjacent to cooler rooms. I would've lost several hundred food, but that's salvageable. Also, upgrade core areas to stone walls to minimize fire spreading.

surprised?
So maybe just stick a hilt onto SW Executor class and be over this?
:rpgcodex:

Most of the weapons in that game look ordinary and reasonable even when compared to many Western games, let alone other Jap games. The sword in that picture is a unique weapon obtainable in a special way, and so it looks and behaves differently to other greatsword class weapons like the bastard sword or claymore.

Does it tip you over backwards and gets stuck in the floor the moment you try to swing it?
