I'll try it (Gamefly), but with no SunBros to help me out, I'll probably quit and return it early. I'm not much of a "boss fighter", sadly.
Have you actually played the King's Field games. They are even less RPG like than the Souls games. No character creation. No free distribution of stat points, other than some limited stat increases gained through items. And thereby nothing like different classes, other than some moment to moment variation depending on what gear is being used. Souls games take a lot from earlier Zelda games, but really King's Field are more in line with the Zelda style Adventure Action something genre than they are real RPGs. And I like the KF games a lot fyi, but saying they are "more RPG than Souls games" is just dumb.I'm not a Dark Souls fan nor do I like the games. I just love riling you people up lol, it's so fucking easy.
Needless to say DS games weren't RPGs either so GTFOH with that bullshit. Only RPGs that From's ever done were the King's Field games, which are objectively better than DS/Bloodborne popamole.
I did see a Sekiro video though where the guy mentioned he was able to run by one boss and stealth kill another though so there's probably hope for us.
If it's as long as previous souls games, then I only spoiled 3 boss fights and one beginning location. It's mostly negligible. Of the 3 boss fights, only one has been shown till completion while the others have only shown cutscenes.Sullynathan, are you really going to have any fun with the game, if you are spoiling yourself all the bosses before playing? Just curious

lol excellent timing before the videos flood inEven the thumbnails and gifs are too spoilery for me. Quitting this thread until release, see you soon.
it looks like they are keyframing animations by hand instead of mocaping. Is it me, or did they budget the animation department?
Miyazaki said:"There’s always the possibility," Miyazaki says. "These games are definitely fun. And we’re interested in the patterns they are taking. If we did it, it might be a bit different! But we’re definitely interested and there’s definitely that possibility in the future. We’d love to take a crack at them some day."
