Custom scaling would be great on Yuzu too, but unfortunately it only goes up in integers.

The more I play the more I think this magatsuhi or whatever mechanic is completely pointless and inferior to the smirk system it tries to replace. The introduction of the "guard" command seems to have done more harm than good overall.

Seems like the Elemental damper just straight out fucks over Bosses's Magatshui skills.

15 hours in and having a blast. Love the exploration. If IGN or whoever (I don't care about), said "Persona without a heart", I say "Persona without the fat". No long story exposition. Pure gameplay.
Explore, manage & fight.

The more JRPGs I play the more I'm opposed to regular battle music. This game even has menu music for some reason. The exploration track on the 2nd map is so fucking good and you barely get to hear it. Can't even find it online either.

I've put in maybe an hour or so and the game seems decent so far. I can't stand playing with the English voices though. I'll have to put it on hold until the dlc is out tomorrow.

Don't know if I feel like getting a switch emu set up. Did fatlus ever say how well Nocturne's pc port sold? Wondering how likely it is that we get a port of 5 in a year or something.

Somebody dropped a gamerip of the tracks on squidboard if you care enough.

I dabbled into this a little and gotta say this game is some serious good shit. So good that I'll now just wait for the inevitable PC release so that I don't have to spoil this glorious game with shitty hickups and sound crackling.

They just don't make games like these anymore (tm).

I started with the intention of going world of STR but the difficulty forced me to focus more on tankiness. Bit of a hydrid support role too.

Fiddled around with NCP a bit and I dig the results. Forced AF, 2x SSAA, sharpening and low latency mode and it all seems to work well. This is in addition to 2x internal resolution. I still have no idea what the actual native resolution is - it strikes me as higher than 720p, but not by much. 900p maybe.

Now if only the draw distance wasn't ass. It's probably the lowest I have ever seen. I really hope the guy who did the enhancement mod for NMH3 works his magic with this.

PS this area reminds me of Nier Automata a fair bit. The music, calming nature juxtaposed by ruined buildings, mostly.

Oh yeah, I'm on NA and that's a bit of a bummer, hope it gets uploaded soon.
Ziperto is your friend (screens from US .xci version):

The "Japanese Voices" DLC is still missing, though (only EU is available):
