That lost temple area is heavily bugged, its level 9 content so likely few tried it. Reloading in the very first area break transition areas and break arwin too.
Btw could you PM me your save files from right before / inside Lost Temple? Wanna check if we can find them bugs you're mentioning.

Which are the tier 5 spells in the game? I an just curious. Please, no detail about story.

Other question. Does Solasta include higher level spells in form of single use scrolls? Like Dark Sun : Wake of the Ravager, you can cast at best circle 7 magic, however, you can get a meteor swarm(9th) to use once per the entire campaign.

Yep. But how they are in game?

Anyway, in the past, I advocated for a lv cap of 20 on Solasta, but I was ignorant and wrong. 5E is not like PF1E where most adventure paths end close to lv 20. Even otherworldly adventures on 5E like descend to Arvenus tends to end on lv 14. The great majority of monsters has smaller CR and far less nasty abilities. Not mentioning all costs of making animations for all of this spells and environmental iterations. The game probably could put Barbarian and few more classes with the same resources.

With the extra features, arcane power and shackle you cant make the damage devastating. Also there's a few enemies sensible to cold.

On the subject of magic, there's a little oversight in the implementation of spellcasting (unless I'm blind and can't see the obvious way to do it): you can only upcast spells that benefit from upcasting (e.g. Magic Missile but not Misty Step). However, the SRD spellcasting rules say:
When a character casts a spell, he or she expends a slot of that spell’s level or higher, effectively “filling” a slot with the spell. You can think of a spell slot as a groove of a certain size—small for a 1st-level slot, larger for a spell of higher level. A 1st-level spell fits into a slot of any size, but a 9th-level spell fits only in a 9th-level slot.
So in principle you should be able to cast any spell using a higher level slot, even if there's no benefit from it. And you might want to do it when e.g. you want to cast a 2nd-level spell like Misty Step but only have 3rd level slots left.

Finally completed it, it was great and thoroughly enjoyable ,those chapters were full of surprises . As of today its the best turn based D&D crpg ever made . If i knew i'd min max a bit more if someone starting with ranger in party too i suggest you pick undead as first favored foe then elementals as second, monstrosity a good choice too but less often than elementals as many kind of critters count as them . Ending is quite tough, most of the game you get many rests , probably too many rests, strangely thats not the case in last chapter chaining very hard fights , better pack up ton of stuff.
As for the one asking earlier, no cliffhanger the story is complete . Still doesnt stop a sequel to happen.
Now solasta 2 kickstarter when ?....

He just means lvl cap should be 30.

Nope 36. After reaching the lv cap, you start a epic quest to become a immortal on Mystara. hu3hu3h3u just kidding. I an fine with lv cap = 10 on solasta. Maybe raised to 11 or 12 after a expansion. But not every game needs to allow high level gameplay.

Mainly when only about 8% of players prefer it in the first place.

edit : I did a poll asking the favorite level range some time ago. People who like high level are only about 8%.

Anyway, in the past, I advocated for a lv cap of 20 on Solasta, but I was ignorant and wrong.
Holy shit, stop the presses. Am I dreaming?

NOpe. Watched a high level stream of 5E and changed my mind... Also, we already have two high level 3.5Esque games coming this year. Pathfinder : Wrath of The Righteous & Knights of the Chalice 2. Both games will allow PC's to archive lichdoom. On KoTC2, you need to be a Wizard attuned to Nocturnis, and the ritual costs 250k, requires lv 15 among other things. On WoTR, you become a lich on chapter 5 but start gaining some lich powers very early on.

How long is non-EA part of the game, relative to EA? Was there any new stuff in the part of the game that was in the EA?

I had to restart once as the saves were borked by spring update so i estimate a full playthrough skipping nothing is around 30Hours, but i am fast.

How was your party?

I an thinking on making a human wizard(shock arcanist), one cleric(Ice), one Paladin(Oath of Tirmar) and one Rogue(Shadowcaster).

The land of ice and snow.
Strap Yourselves In Codex Year of the Donut Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath I helped put crap in Monomyth
Can I just say that this is one of the few times I see EA done right?

Look at what is happening: people that bought into early access and backed the project are now playing the game. What is happening? They're playing the final product, with any possible bugs. What are they going to do? Report them. And what happens when the game releases fully?

The game is polished to near perfection for the general public.

Smart.

Party used was one paladin, oath of tirmar , one ranger shadow tamer, one wizard shock arcanist and one sun cleric . All of them are sylvan elves except the paladin who's half elf. I'd say the weakest member was the cleric , its a bit a jack of all trade with usefull abilties , better had another damage dealer i think, and heal with rests and potions. The paladin was the only one using heavy armor, others using medium and light. maybe an error as by the end the pally achieve 22 ac the dex ranger only 19. There's no shortage of heavy armors .
Maybe going pure damage dealer party would work better, with one caster to counterspell.

I hope this company keeps making these type of turn based D&D adventures/modules and does not go off and start making action D&D games or whatever like many companies do once they have a a success w/ a D&D game thinking they can gain more fanbase or something..

So how is the performance? When the EA first start the optimisation is kind bad, did they improved it yet?

My pc is getting old and I don't really want to get a new once since the graphic card price is ridiculous at the moment.

Unless you're running a 286 I think you should be ok with this title. It looks like it should run on a potato...

If they can keep adding to the dungeon tool kit and eventually players can make dialogue and the likes for quests, i can see them becoming more big enough to do modules with that same kit.
