Archie Sonic? Is Betty & Veronica thinking "I bet he's the ultimate vibe.. GOTTA GO FAST.. FASTER FASTER FASTER.....". Is Jughead downing Chili dogs with Sonic... maybe at Sonics?

And Eggman is a repressed furry lover rejected by all of Mobius, this his anger and retribution. He started up the robo-furry sex toy industry but he wanted the FUR not the machine. It drove him into deeper madness.

That's cool and all but amerisonic lore isn't real
It is now because Japan fucked Sonic so hard the English speaking fanboys are working on the games lore for Japan as well.
Sonic has given more kids autism than all the vaccines put together.
Something about Sonic franchise does fire the imagination enough to inspire this sheer volume of various fanworks and fanfiction.
Many of them are pretty fascinating in the "reading someone's first attempts at writing a story" kind of way. Some of them are Blue Murder however.
It's because of the large eyes, over the top facial expressions and ability to 'customise' a unique character from the body parts of ones you like. It's the exact same reason anime is popular with autists. The over the top facial expressions are easy for them to understand and connect with. Then they can spend hours designing a new Sayian, Sonic recolour or train with a human face.

What lore? Other than Frontiers (which had its own share of problems), every game ignores each other, for the most part. The new settingd oesn't even have a name. Hell, we don't even have a name anymore for Sonic's kind of animal people beings.
Then there are the inane policies that the new comic book must follow, such as guys not being allowed to wear pants (why?), money must not be talked about (why again), Sonic can't be defeated for good (roughed is okay), the main cast must remain static (so they won't have relationships, changes in personality or anything, while the secondary characters from the comic can do so, funnily enough), etc.
The new Sonic works and comic doesn't get as deranged as SATAM and Archie or British Sonic was.

Google your name + "The Hedgehog" as words. Then cry when you see the results.

All the shit 2d games they keep dumping out.

And it's obvious they wanted to reign in the comic people when they started using it for OC fetish material and killing fucking Sonic. Their CHILDRENS comics.

Can anyone help me remember the name of a Sonic fan game that was structured similarly to Contra: Hard Corps - ceaseless boss rush except there were no traditional levels altogether. Anyone played it?

No, but I did see this the other day...

Still better than most AAA games.

It's a pity that since the only one that knew about how Chao works left the company, we'll never, ever, ever have Chao again, right?

Not that I care either way. I'm not a rabid Sonic fan so I dunno what's the deal with these not-Tamagochis.

Wtf... What kids are taking rides in dryers? How is this so common to make a lesson about it?

Actually, yeah, we did do that. We just never turned it on. Rotated it by hand.

They had to tell zoomers to stop putting tide pods in their mouths because of a handful of memes a decade ago.

The saga of Knuckles the Echidna by Ken Penders is worth reading, or at least a summary, due to how insane it is, going the "so bad it's hilarious" route several times, and covering strange topics that are telling signs that Penders may or may not be mentally ill.

And note this is for a comic for kids. Even then, no-one else bothered to do anything with the Echidna and Knucks, not even the games (except for the British Sonic comic, which isn't much anyway).

^That scene is also hilariously bad, but it's NOT related to Penders' meddling, for once. Long story short, the girl in the pic above is Sally, who comes from the cartoon that inspired the comic. Unfortunately, it seems pretty much every writer of the comic hated her, so she was made useless compared to her cartoon version, and her romance with Sonic, culminated in the scene above, which was stupidly forced and made no sense, and it was made to cause maximum drama, as Sally asked Sonic to be a king to assist her in front of the entire town, but Sonic gets cold feet because it's too sudden, and Sally slaps Sonic in front of everyone and has a spectacular hissy fit. The two never made up after that, because Sega mandated Sonic is a free spirit so he must remain single, forever.

The art style doesn't fit the scene, but the artist had the bad luck of having to work through bad arcs of the comic. Another he worked on is the one where the Nazi wannabe dingoes nearly decimate the Echidna's civilization*, fed up with the former's abuse and rising to defend themselves.

The Archie comic is quite crazy due to the total lack of supervision, for good and bad. Shame there won't be anything like this ever again due to the tighter scrutiny.

*Note they're not actual nazis; they apparently liked the nazi imagery and had a hateboner against the Echidna due to the latter treating them like second-class citizens at best. They're painted as bad guys when they're clearly defending themselves. They may or may not have found Nazi uniforms somewhere since the Archie setting is a post-apoc setting in the far future on Earth.
