Btw I know it's been asked before but is this meant to be a utopia or dystopia? I watched a streamer who kept putting exploding containers around hard to kill NPCs, basically one shots them every time and the AI never reacts to the player doing it.

Haha! What a fuckup! I walked into "Madame Savage's Place" and tried to talk to her and her bouncer at the same time, and both ignored me. I started to walk away only for my neck to violently and suddenly twist 180 degrees to force me to look at them as they both initiated conversation with me at the same time. But it's two separate convos running simultaneously, so my head is snapping back and forth between them against my will as they both talk over each other and the subtitles spazz out. Also it's now frozen.

that's actually the point of the game it seems. Different planets have different resources. You want to build outposts on them to gather resources and connect them to basically have a network of all resources so you can build all the advanced stuff. So like a 4X Space RPG.

Isn't it basically the same as in Fallout 76? Except here you can probably build more than just one 'camp' as was limited in F76.

Not at all. The Camp in FO76 was a way to interact with other players (via your vendors) and to express yourself. There was some passive resource gathering, but it was not the purpose and you could only have 1 camp.
