Alright, so I got lucky and re-loaded and no combat ensued on my way to The House of Spectres. But I can't progress with the spectre. He asks me what name the killer goes by and all 3 are wrong answers. Did I miss talking to someone in Arkham?

I remember being hinted at in the journal or in a dialogue about local legends or something and I thought immediately to that book because I've seen it before but didn't think it was important back then.

i think you get that book as part of another quest... somewhere.
I had issue that you must read it basically in front of the building

You have to read it after finding Keelan and reading Julian's note and letter or it doesn't do anything.

Anyway, I bought the toilet paper, read the book and it advanced my quest. I'm back in downtown with a few items from The House of Spectres and can continue on now. Thanks!

another thing that seems really odd to me about this release are the achievements. you have some for shit like 'max out X skill' which is literally impossible to do currently. this makes me wonder if they indeed won't just update this game with more conrtent.. hopefully we get clarification in that q/a stream mentioned earlier
